Why Brexit, Britain, and the EU Have Nothing to Do with the 10 Horns of Revelation 17

“The 10 horns (kings) of Revelation 17 came and went more than 1900 years ago.”

————————————–

Among those who believe in a future fulfillment of the book of Revelation, there has long been an interest in linking the 10 horns (10 kings) of Revelation 17 to political partnerships in Europe, especially the European Union. Gary DeMar, an author and Bible prophecy teacher, pointed out in an article this week that the well-known Oswald J. Smith made the following prediction in 1927:

“Ten nations, no more, no less, are to become allied and known as the Roman empire because Rome will be the centre, the capital, and it will be in Rome that the Emperor will reign.”

Hal Lindsey also assured readers of The Late Great Planet Earth (1970) that “a ten nation confederacy” (pp. 96-97) would form in Europe by 1980, in order to set the stage for Revelation 17 (and Daniel 2) to be fulfilled. Of course, this topic has come to light again this week because of the Brexit referendum and Britain’s vote to leave the European Union. The Babylon Bee, a satire site, posted an article suggesting that dispensationalists are frantically adjusting their prophecy charts to include the Brexit vote. Another satire article posted in “The End Times” states that dispensationalist Christians are shocked, disappointed, angry, and depressed over this news.

What happens in this world is important, but all this speculation about how the European Union might fit into Bible prophecy is a waste of time. The 10 horns (kings) of Revelation 17 came and went more than 1900 years ago.

John’s Vision of a Harlot, a Beast, and 10 Horns

In Revelation 17, John had a vision of a harlot that was about to be judged (verse 1). John saw the harlot sitting on a beast with seven heads and 10 horns (verse 3), and the woman was “drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus” (verse 6).

The Harlot

The harlot is also referred to as “the great city” a number of times in Revelation (e.g. 11:8, 14:8, 16:19, 17:18, 18:10, 18:18). This title was first given to Jerusalem in Revelation 11:8, where it was said to be the place “where also our Lord was crucified.” Jerusalem and the Second Temple were burned with fire in 70 AD after a 5-month siege, as predicted in Revelation 17:16; 18:8-9, 18. This was God’s judgment upon the harlot drunk with the blood of His saints (17:1, 6). As outlined in another post, “The Avenging of Righteous Blood (Deuteronomy, Matthew, and Revelation),”

1. Moses prophesied that God would “avenge the blood of His servants” upon a faithless, perverse, and crooked generation at the time of Israel’s “latter end” (Deuteronomy 32:5, 20, 29, 43).

2. Jesus repeatedly denounced His own generation as “perverse”, “faithless”, and “adulterous.” Paul told the Philippian church that they were shining as lights in the midst of “a crooked and perverse generation” (Phil. 2:14-15).

3. Jesus told the religious leaders of Israel that their generation would be held responsible and judged for all the righteous blood shed on earth (Matthew 23:29-36).

4. John was shown a scene of martyrs crying out for their blood to soon be avenged “on those who dwell on the earth” (Revelation 6:10).

5. John then saw seven bowls poured out “on the earth” (Rev. 16:1), and one of them caused the rivers and springs to become blood in order to judge those who had “shed the blood of saints and prophets” (Rev. 16:4-6).

6. John also saw a harlot dressed like a high priest of Israel and “drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus” (Rev. 17:3-6).

7. In Revelation 18:19-24, John saw the great city…overthrown and made desolate (see Matthew 23:38). The holy prophets and apostles, and all of heaven, were told to rejoice over this scene because God had avenged them on her, and because “in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.

The Beast

John describes a scarlet 7-headed, 10-horned beast which carries the harlot. Its seven heads are identified in Rev. 17:10 as seven kings, five of whom had fallen, one that was, and one that would soon come, but only briefly. John was also told that “the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to destruction” (Rev. 17:11).

These seven kings were the high priests of the house of Annas (Ananus). Annas, his five sons, and his son-in-law monopolized the position of High Priest from about the time of Jesus’ birth until Jerusalem’s destruction in 70 AD (verse 10). The first five had died, the sixth one was still alive, and the seventh, Ananus, was about to rule. He only ruled for three months. Here is the list of the seven high priests of the house of Ananus, and the years that they reigned. The five sons of Ananus are #2, #4, #5, #6, and #7:

1 Ananus (or Annas) the son of Seth (6–15 AD)
2 Eleazar the son of Ananus (16–17 AD)
3 Joseph, the son of Caiaphas (18–36 AD); he was the son-in-law of Ananus
4 Jonathan the son of Ananus (36–37 AD and 44 AD)
5 Theophilus the son of Ananus (37–41 AD)
6 Matthias the son of Ananus (43 AD)
7 Ananus the son of Ananus (62 AD)

“The eighth” was Matthias, the grandson of Annas, and he was “also of the seven” because he was part of that family lineage (verse 11). He ruled as high priest from 65-66 AD and was murdered when the Jewish Zealots sieged the temple.

See this post for more details on these things.

The 10 Horns

In  Revelation 17:7-18, an angel explained the meaning of the vision, and he described the 10 horns in this way:

And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them…” (Revelation 17:12-14).

All of John’s visions were concerning “things which must shortly take place” because “the time [was] near” (Revelation 1:1-3; 22:6, 10). In War of the Jews (Book 2, Chapter 20), Josephus listed exactly 10 high priests and religious leaders in Israel who were given authority as generals from early 67 AD until Jerusalem’s downfall 3.5 years later.

Here’s some important historical background which shows why these generals were appointed at that time. This information can be found in the works of Josephus (e.g. Wars 2.20.1) and Roman historians like Suetonius (The Twelve Caesars, Vespasian 4), Tacitus (The Histories V), and Dio Cassius. (This is abbreviated; a longer version can be seen in this post.)

Summer 66 AD

During the summer of 66 AD a group of Jewish zealots and revolutionaries, who were opposed to Rome, took control of the Jerusalem temple. Josephus says that the Jewish/Roman War officially began in August 66 AD when Eleazar, the son of Ananias the high priest, “who was at that time governor of the Temple, persuaded those that officiated in the divine service to receive no gift or sacrifice for any foreigner.” They used this new law to reject “the sacrifice of Caesar” (Wars 2.17.2). They also massacred a Roman garrison stationed at the Antonia Fortress on the east side of Jerusalem (Wars 2.17.7).

November 66 AD

In November 66 AD Cestius Gallus brought the 12th Legion to put down the Jewish rebellion. He plundered and burned the city of Zebulon in Galilee, then moved south to surround Jerusalem. He arrived when most of Judea was gathered in Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles. Surprisingly, his army suffered about 5,700 deaths, his weapons and supplies were stolen during an ambush, they retreated from Jerusalem on November 22nd, and hundreds were chased and killed by Jewish rebels over the next five days. This gave many Jews confidence that they could overcome any Roman army, believing heaven was with them.

Josephus Lists 10 Newly Appointed Jewish Generals

The following information is taken from Josephus’ War of the Jews, Book 2, Chapter 20:

The Jewish religious leaders and nationalists knew that a full-scale Roman revenge was inevitable. (Indeed Nero officially declared war against Israel in February 67 AD, sending Vespasian as his general. See Revelation 6:1-2.) So these Jewish leaders “got together in great numbers in the temple, and appointed a great many generals for the war” (Wars 2.20.3). As Josephus reveals, exactly 10 generals were appointed and some of them were high priests (this is from sections 3-4 of Wars 2.20):

3. But as to those who had pursued after Cestius, when they were returned back to Jerusalem, they overbore some of those that favored the Romans by violence, and some them persuaded [by en-treaties] to join with them, and got together in great numbers in the temple, and appointed a great many generals for the war. Joseph also, the son of Gorion, and Ananus the high priest, were chosen as governors of all affairs within the city, and with a particular charge to repair the walls of the city; for they did not ordain Eleazar the son of Simon to that office, although he had gotten into his possession the prey they had taken from the Romans, and the money they had taken from Cestius, together with a great part of the public treasures, because they saw he was of a tyrannical temper, and that his followers were, in their behavior, like guards about him. However, the want they were in of Eleazar’s money, and the subtle tricks used by him, brought all so about, that the people were circumvented, and submitted themselves to his authority in all public affairs.

4. They also chose other generals for Idumea; Jesus, the son of Sapphias, one of the high priests; and Eleazar, the son of Ananias, the high priest; they also enjoined Niger, the then governor of Idumea, who was of a family that belonged to Perea, beyond Jordan, and was thence called the Peraite, that he should be obedient to those fore-named commanders. Nor did they neglect the care of other parts of the country; but Joseph the son of Simon was sent as general to Jericho, as was Manasseh to Perea, and John, the Esscue, to the toparchy of Thamna; Lydda was also added to his portion, and Joppa, and Emmaus. But John, the son of Matthias, was made governor of the toparchies of Gophnitica and Acrabattene; as was Josephus, the son of Matthias, of both the Galilees. Gamala also, which was the strongest city in those parts, was put under his command.

Here’s a list of these 10 generals and the territories they were to oversee in preparation for war with Rome:

1. Joseph, the son of Gorion (Governor of Jerusalem)
2. Ananus, the high priest (Governor of Jerusalem)
3. Jesus, the son of Sapphias, one of the high priests (Idumaea)
4. Eleazar, the son of Ananias, the high priest (Idumaea)
5. Niger, the then governor of Idumea (Idumaea)
6. Joseph, the son of Simon (Jericho)
7. Manasseh (Perea)
8. John, the Esscue (toparchy of Thamna; “Lydda was also added to his portion, and Joppa, and Emmaus”)
9. John, the son of Matthias (toparchies of Gophnitica and Acrabattene)
10. Josephus, the son of Matthias (both the Galilees; “Gamala also, which was the strongest city in those parts, was put under his command”)

They Receive Authority for One Hour

It’s stated in Revelation 17:12-13 that “they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.” The phrase “one hour” is used again three times in Revelation 18, each time to describe the judgment of the great city, the harlot, Babylon the great:

And the kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come‘” (Rev. 18:9-10).

For in one hour such great riches came to nothing…” (Rev. 18:17).

“…For in one hour she is made desolate” (Rev. 18:19).

Both Daniel and Revelation speak of a 3.5 year time frame of judgment, repeatedly using terms like “42 months”, “1260 days,” and “a time, times, and half a time.” During this time Israel experienced seven seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments. It was 3.5 years from the time that Nero declared war on Jerusalem in February 67 AD until the city and its temple were destroyed and burned in August 70 AD. This is also how long the ten kings, the generals listed by Josephus, kept their authority. So it seems that in Revelation 17:12; 18:10, 17, 19, “one hour” = 3.5 years.

These Will Make War with the Lamb

In Revelation 17:14 we read, “These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord or lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

Jesus made war against the harlot/great city and He used the Roman army as His instrument. Probably the clearest indication of this fact can be seen in The Parable of the Wedding Feast (Matthew 22:1-14). When the king (God) arranged a marriage for his son (Jesus), those who were invited refused to come, and some even mistreated and killed the king’s servants. Jesus went on to say, “But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city” (verse 7). We also know that Jesus promised to come in judgment within the lifetime of His disciples, and in their own generation (Matthew 16:27-28, I Thessalonians 2:14-16, II Thessalonians 1:6-8, James 5:8-9, Revelation 22:12, etc.).

So when these 10 generals (high priests among them) attempted to defeat the Romans and maintain Jerusalem as the center of the old covenant system which Jesus had already made obsolete (Hebrews 8:6, 13, etc.), this was nothing less than war against Jesus Himself. There’s evidence that they even knew this and warred against Jesus intentionally, as they called to mind His predictions that Jerusalem would be destroyed in that generation.

When Jesus said, “the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it…on whomever [this stone] falls, it will grind him to powder” (Matthew 21:43-44), the chief priests and Pharisees knew He was speaking of them (verse 45).

When James, the brother of Jesus, was martyred in 62 AD with the approval of the high priest, Ananus, these were James’ last words: “Why do ye ask me concerning Jesus, the Son of Man? He himself sitteth in heaven at the right hand of the great Power, and is about to come upon the clouds of heaven.” The Pharisees responded, “We have done badly in supplying such testimony to Jesus.”

In 70 AD, during the 5-month siege on Jerusalem which ultimately caused its downfall, the 10thLegion of the Romans launched white boulders as heavy as 100 pounds over the city walls into Jerusalem (see Revelation 16:21). They were catapulted from Roman engines from up to a quarter mile away. Josephus records that the watchmen on the wall, if they saw them coming, would shout, “The Son cometh!” After a while the Romans learned to blacken the stones so that they couldn’t as easily be detected, and then many were crushed by these stones.  J. Stuart Russell, in his 1878 book, The Parousia, offered this explanation (p. 482):

“It could not but be well known to the Jews that the great hope and faith of the Christians was the speedy coming of the Son. It was about this very time, according to Hegesippus [110-180 AD], that St. James, the brother of our Lord, publicly testified in the temple that ‘the Son of man was about to come in the clouds of heaven,’ and then sealed his testimony with his blood. It seems highly probable that the Jews, in their defiant and desperate blasphemy, when they saw the white mass hurtling though the air, raised the ribald cry, ‘The Son is coming,’ in mockery of the Christian hope of the Parousia.”

And the Lamb Will Overcome Them

These 10 generals, the 10 horns, were of one mind. They thought they could use their own power and authority to prevent Jesus’ predictions from coming true. They thought they could maintain power over the great temple and their prosperous old covenant system. Of course, they failed and all of them perished or were captured. The words of God were fulfilled (Revelation 17:17). They made war with the Lamb, but the Lamb overcame.

The 10 Horns Turned on the Harlot

Revelation 17:16 says, “And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire.”

See the final section of this post to see how Josephus likened Jerusalem in 67-70 AD to a wild beast that had gone mad and was eating its own flesh.

The 10 horns have nothing to do with Brexit, the European Union, or the 21st century. We don’t have to worry about them coming on the scene in our day. They played their role and “fulfill[ed] His purpose” (Rev. 17:17) many centuries ago, at the end of the old covenant age in the first century AD.

48 thoughts on “Why Brexit, Britain, and the EU Have Nothing to Do with the 10 Horns of Revelation 17

  1. Hi. You stated in your article that Brexit – or Britain and the EU – has nothing to do with the 10 horns of Revelation. That is indeed true. But you are wrong in your assessment that the 10 horns event is in the past. The 10 horns event is in the future and has not happened yet. The reason you don’t see it is because you don’t have the correct interpretation. The following is the correct interpretation. And note, the following is not my own interpretation but is an interpretation that comes from a true sent preacher who got it directly from God…

Once the Beast or Antichrist arrives on the earth, the bible states in setting up his new One World Government, the Antichrist will divide the entire world up into 10 economic zones. He will set rulers over each of those zones and those rulers will be kings and queens in their own right (Rev 17:12-13). Those 10 rulers are the 10 horns of the Beast the bible speaks of. The 10 rulers or kings will be created by the Beast and will give their power to the Beast. Therefore, the Beast aka Antichrist will have full control over them.

(Note: I realize you have an article on your website where you provide a completely different interpretation of the Mother of Harlots, but your interpretation is “false” and is completely wrong. Whereas my interpretation is right. It is right because it comes directly from a true sent preacher who got it directly from God).

The woman the bible speaks of – named Mystery, Babylon the Great, The Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth – she already exists and is non other than the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church is not of God, and is of the devil and always has been. Therefore, the Pope is not of God. Vatican City is the seat and power of the Roman Catholic Church is that “city” the bible speaks of that sits upon 7 mountains in Rome. (Note: Vatican City is so large it was built upon 7 mountains. I realize there are other cities in the world today that was also built upon 7 mountains, but the scriptures was specifically referring to Vatican City. This has been confirmed by a true sent preacher). The Pope is the leader of Vatican City and is the one who represents it. Therefore, through the Pope, the woman aka the Roman Catholic Church aka Vatican City “reigns over the kings of the earth.” If you’re aware of world events, you’ll notice that all leaders of the world today (presidents, kings and queens, prime ministers, etc) meet with the Pope each year or sometime during their term in power, and the Pope gives those leaders his advice. Therefore, through the Pope, the Roman Catholic Church aka Vatican City “reigns over the kings of the earth” just like the bible says. The Roman Catholic Church is also a “mother”. It is the “mother” of all the false churches in the world today (Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Presbyterian, Mormon, Jehovah Witness, etc). All those false churches sprang from her because they follow the same teaching and doctrine as the Roman Catholic Church (for example, they all baptize in the “name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” just like the Roman Catholic Church does – which is a false baptism). And because those churches follow her teachings, those churches are the Roman Catholic Churches’ “harlots” out on the street corners of the world trying to lure people over to them. And all those false churches are of the devil just like the Roman Catholic Church is of the devil…

Right now, the Roman Catholic Church or Vatican City is being supported by Lucifer. That is why the scriptures say the woman was “riding” the beast that had the 10 horns (Rev 17:3) . Right now, Lucifer is actually helping the Roman Catholic Church (which is why the RCC is the richest and most wealthiest church in the world today) and is using the Roman Catholic Church and the Pope to deceive the people of the world so that a lot of people will be lost. But there is a time coming in the future when the Antichrist will no longer have need of the Roman Catholic Church. The Antichrist will then turn on the woman (aka the Roman Catholic Church aka Vatican City) and his ten kings will attack Vatican City and will burn it to the ground. That is why the scriptures then say the great whore has been judged, and Babylon the great (Vatican City) has fallen, and her smoke rises up, and the merchants of the world will stand afar off and lament her destruction (Rev 18:2-19)…

Therefore, the 10 kings event is in the future and not in the past. The 10 kings has nothing to do with the EU or with Brexit. The EU may well become one of the 10 horns or 10 economic zones the Antichrist will set up during his reign, but note, the Antichrist reign will be only during the 7-year Tribulation Period. Therefore, the 10 horns will not be set up until that time. Once set up, the complete set of 10 horns will span the whole world. The whole world will be divided up into 10 economic sections with each section representing a horn. And each section will have a king placed over it and those kings will report to the Antichrist aka Beast. Through those 10 horns, the Antichrist will rule the entire world…

    • Hi Jeff. At first I thought you were joking (i.e. presenting satire like The Babylon Bee did), but the more I read I realized that you’re serious. Please share who this “true sent preacher” is who you say got this interpretation directly from God.

You said, “Once the Beast or Antichrist arrives on the earth, the bible states in setting up his new One World Government, the Antichrist will divide the entire world up into 10 economic zones.” Where does the Bible state this? Where does the Bible talk about a “One World Government” at all? I’ve heard people throw that phrase around for years and years, but I’ve never seen it in Scripture.

I John and II John are the only books in the Bible where the word “antichrist” appears. Here are the passages where this term is found: [1] I John 2:18 [2] I John 2:22 [3] I John 4:3 [4] II John 7. In these passages, John makes the following points:

[1] His readers had heard that “antichrist is coming.” [2] Many antichrists had come, indicating that it was the last hour (in John’s day). [3] Anyone who denies the Father and the Son, or that Jesus is the Christ, is “the antichrist.” [4] The “spirit of the antichrist” was in the world in John’s day, and was characterized as denying that Jesus is from God. [5] “The antichrist” is anyone who does not “confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh.” Such a person is a deceiver, and many such persons existed in John’s day.

On what basis do you say that “the beast” is the same as “The Antichrist”? In light of the time statements I discussed in this post, and others which also call for a fulfillment in John’s own day, on what basis do you say that this/these individual(s) will appear in our future?

Which Scripture speaks of “the 7-year Tribulation Period” that you mentioned in your last paragraph?

The harlot was said to be full of the blood of the saints and prophets, and Jesus told the religious leaders of Jerusalem that they were guilty of that bloodshed, and that judgment for that bloodshed would fall in their generation (Matthew 23:29-38). It’s a positive identification for that reason alone, but there are also others…

      • Adam,

You stated… “Please share who this “true sent preacher” is who you say got this interpretation directly from God.”…

Answer: I will do no such thing because skeptics like you wouldn’t believe it anyway. You’re not looking for truth. You’re only looking for some excuse to not believe what I’m saying. And this is how Jesus dealt with such skeptics. Jesus simply told them, (John 8:24) “If you don’t believe that I am he, then you shall die in your sins (meaning, you will die an go to hell)”…

You stated… “You said once the Beast or Antichrist arrives on earth, the bible states in setting up his new One World Government, the Antichrist will divide the entire world up into 10 economic zones. Where does the Bible state this??…

Answer (I’m sure there are other scriptures but the following is one such scripture): Revelation 17:12 – And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast…. (The beast is the Antichrist which shall reign during the 7-year Tribulation Period. Since the Antichrist will reign only during that period, that proves the event of the 10 horns is in the future and not in the past)…

You stated… “Where does the Bible talk about a “One World Government” at all. I’ve heard people throw that phrase around for years but I’ve never seen it in scripture”…

Answer: The words or phrase “One World Government” is not found in scripture. But what those words are describing is indeed found in scripture. One place it speaks of it is in Revelation 13 chapter…

Revelation 13:17 – And it was given unto him (the Beast or Antichrist) to make war with the saints (in this case, it is referring to the people of Israel), and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations (having power over all kindreds, tongues and NATIONS means he has power over everybody on the face of the earth. One man ruling the whole world sounds like the perfect definition of a One World Government to me.)…

Revelation 13:8 – And all that dwell upon the earth (that means everybody on the planet) shall worship him…

Revelation 13:15 – And he had power to… cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed…

Revelation 16:16 – And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond (that includes everybody the world over, from kings and queens of nations to even the poorest of persons) to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name… (the Antichrist will rule the world. He will demand that you worship him and accept his mark – or you will be killed)…

You stated… “The harlot was said to be full of the blood of the saints and the prophets, and Jesus told the religious leaders of Jerusalem that they were guilty of that bloodshed…”

Answer: In identifying the Mother of Harlots, there are more than a single qualification you must meet. Jerusalem does not meet all the qualifications, but the Roman Catholic Church does. So no use trying to tie Jerusalem to it (doing so smacks of the devil). Secondly, Jerusalem may indeed have blood on their hands (the Jews killed Jesus, for crying out loud, when he was the Messiah) but so what, that doesn’t mean Jesus was referring to Jerusalem when he mentioned the Mother of Harlots. And who told you otherwise and where did you get it from and where is your proof of that fact? Assumption means nothing without proof to back it up. As for proof, my pastor is a true sent preacher who gets his info directly from God. And the Lord let him know specifically that the Mother of Harlots is the Roman Catholic Church – end of story. What God says is the last word and what anyone else says or thinks about it matters not…

As for the Roman Catholic Church being drunken with the blood of the saints, they indeed are. Around 64 AD and at the dawn of the Roman Catholic Church (which was the official religion of the Roman government), the Roman government was persecuting the saints and killing all prophets they could find. If you do a google search for “Christians thrown to lions” that will provide you with plenty of information. Christians were being hunted down and thrown into the arena to be torn apart by lions. Many others were beheaded (the Apostle Paul himself was beheaded). And that was only the beginning. All throughout history, the Roman Catholic Church has slaughtered millions. They persecuted the saints because the RCC is of the devil and is being controlled by Lucifer, and Lucifer wants to destroy as many saints as possible…

If you want more info and truth about the RCC, I recommend you watch the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7_Tsff8r6Q It’s over an hour long and describes the entire history of the RCC. I am by no means vouching for everything the video says but I was utterly shocked at the magnitude and the types of torture the RCC has committed. The various ways they dreamed up to torture people is beyond belief. Not even ISIS is so cruel in their methods. At 24 minutes into the video, the video says that during the Dark Ages, more than 50,000,000 martyrs were killed by the RCC. There is even a Torture Museum in Europe today which has on display some of the very torture instruments that were used in the Dark Ages. Many of the devices are shown in the video. Only someone of pure evil could even dream up such devices for torturing people. Yet, that is the truth and history of the RCC and is what the Pope doesn’t want you to know…

      • Jeff,

Of course I’m skeptical about the “true sent preacher” you told me about. I don’t know you and I definitely don’t know that preacher, and there are thousands of people who say they hear directly from God about things. Some well-known preachers are notorious for the outrageous things they say God told them. Are they all correct? Do you always listen to any random person who says God told them something directly? There are people who lie about that kind of thing, and there are also people who are well-meaning but misguided.

It’s ridiculous of you to compare me to the religious leaders who didn’t believe Jesus, and to insinuate that I’m possibly on my way to hell if I don’t believe the words of a mysterious, unidentified preacher who says he heard directly from God. This is manipulation at its finest.

All of John’s visions were concerning “things which must shortly take place” because “the time [was] near” (Revelation 1:1-3; 22:6, 10). His focus was not on the Roman Catholic Church which would develop over many centuries to come. Jesus was also clear that judgment for the bloodshed of the righteous would fall in His own generation:

“Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation” (Matthew 23:34-36).

Regarding the harlot being identified as Jerusalem, as this post points out, “The harlot is referred to as ‘the great city’ a number of times in Revelation (e.g. 11:8, 14:8, 16:19, 17:18, 18:10, 18:18). This title was first given to Jerusalem in Revelation 11:8, where it was said to be the place ‘where also our Lord was crucified.’”

There was already world government in John’s day. The Roman Empire ruled the known world. We see evidence of this in Luke 2:1, for example:

“And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered.”

      • Adam…

Feel free to continue believing all that nonsense you believe and I guarantee you you will end up in hell. And that is not an assumption but an absolute fact. The things I have said to you came directly from a true sent preacher who got it from God. Therefore, if you disagree with what I’ve been saying then you’re disagreeing with God. Furthermore, it also matter’s not whether you actually believe that my pastor is a true sent preacher or not. Your belief or unbelief of it has no bearing on the matter. He’s still a true sent preacher even if you don’t believe it. And your disbelief of it does not change it…

Despite the fact that there are thousands upon thousands of false preachers and teachers in the world today who are giving out false information and are misleading people, not one sheep will be lost. Jesus said – (John 10:27) – “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” If you are a sheep, then whenever you come in contact with the real truth, there will be something about that truth that will draw you to it. That truth will both seem right and feel right to you even though you cannot prove it. And you’ll want to know more. A sheep will follow that truth and will get saved. But if you are a goat, then you will not follow it. You will not follow it because you do not recognize it as truth. That truth is actually God and you do not recognize God. A goat will simply keep on doing what they are doing and will go right to hell. So in short, if you find it difficult to accept and difficult to believe the things I have been saying to you even though I got them from a true sent preacher who got it from God, then it means you are a goat and you will not be saved.

Contrary to what some people believe, the eternal God is not trying to save any of the goats. That’s because the goats won’t be saved anyway. You could talk to a goat until you are blue in the face, and you could expose them to the very same truth, and when you get through, a goat will still reject everything you have said and it won’t change their opinion. That’s because they are a goat and that is their nature. Rejection, rebellion, disbelief, etc – those are all the innate characteristics of a goat. Whereas, humbleness, submission and acceptance, etc (even to their own peril) – those are the characteristics of a sheep…

John 10:27 – My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me…

John 10:26 – But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep…

1 John 4:6 – We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us…

      • Jeff, do you really expect people to just believe a random online person when they say “I know a guy who talked to God and this is what he said”?? If you want to convince people that this is true you’re going to have to give a lot more information.

And then of course the information has to align with scripture, and you telling Adam that he’ll go to hell for not believing you certainly does not align with scripture. So, -10 points for you. Do not pass GO and do not collect $200. You lose.

You stated… “Jeff, do you really expect people to just believe a random online person when they say “I know a guy who talked to God and this is what he said”?? Whether a person believes me or not has no bearing on whether my statement is true. Their unbelief does not make it untrue. And if they do not believe what I have said, and if what I said came from God (and it did), then they are in fact disagreeing with God. And anyone who disagrees with God shall be cast into the lake. And that does indeed align with scripture (see Mark 16:16). So we shall see who shall loose – me who speaks the truth, or the one who calls God a liar…

Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice – and they follow me (John 10:27)”. So It’s not about having more information. But it’s about whether you’re a sheep or not. If you are a sheep, then all I have to say is “follow me” and a sheep will follow (that is what Jesus said to his disciples when he first met them. And they dropped their nets and followed him (Matthew 4:19-20)). If you are a goat, then no amount of information will convince you to follow me, because you are a goat and nothing will change that. I could give a goat an encyclopedia of information and a goat will still reject it all because they are a goat. That is precisely why Jesus said, “Ye believe not because ye are not of my sheep”. So it’s not about having more information…

Mark 16:16 – He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. He that believeth not shall be damned.”…

John 10:26 – But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep…

      • Jeff, you’re correct when you say that whether a person believes you or not has no bearing on whether or not you’re telling the truth. However, I think you’re missing the point I’m trying to make.

What if I told you that I talked to God this morning and he said “Tell Jeff Webb that he should sell all his belongings except for what he needs on his journey, and give all the proceeds to the little old lady down the street. Then tell him that I want him to hitch hike across America, taking only his favourite Nikes, some SPF 60 sunblock and his backpack filled with two bottles of Snapple Peach Iced Tea, a box of strawberry pop tarts and two bags of peanut M&Ms, and on his journey he will meet a man with a wooden leg named Jack (the man, not the leg).”

And what if I told you that this is 100% true because I heard it from God himself. Would you believe me? Surely you must believe me because if you don’t then you’re calling God a liar and that will send you straight to hell. So, do you believe me?

Of course you don’t. So likewise, why should we believe you?

      • Vincent,

I understand what you’re trying to say but it doesn’t dis-annul anything I said. A sheep will respond to and recognize the voice of God, whereas a goat will not. It has nothing to do with what is being said…

Here’s an example…. Right now there many false churches in the world today. And there are also many false preachers and teachers who are misleading people and giving out false information (especially on Youtube). Yet nearly all of those people are claiming to be saved, so who do you believe? Here is how the eternal God deals with that situation…

Let’s assume that in a false church somewhere that there is a person who is a sheep attending that church. The sheep doesn’t know any better because that is the church their parents attend and their friend attend and they’ve been going to that church all of their lives. And yet the church is a false church but the sheep doesn’t know that. So how does God deal with that situation and how will God save the sheep in that church. There are many people who think that God will save a person no matter which church you attend. They feel that God will save you based on your own actions and belief. That when the Rapture occurs, many think that God will pick and choose the saved people from this church, will pick and choose the saved people from that church and so on, whoever is worthy to be saved. But that is not true and there is no bible to support such a belief. For starters, if those churches are not a true saved church, then there ARE no saved people in those churches. None. Even if the church has a thousand members, every single one of those members are on their way to hell. God does not consider one person in those churches to be saved. But what if there is a sheep sitting among the congregation in those churches. How will God save that one sheep? Answer: God will find a way to lead that sheep out of that false church and will lead them to a true saved church where they can be saved. As for the rest of those people who are in those false churches, those people are goats. God will leave those goats sitting right where they are. Those goats will continue going to church every sunday and thinking they are saved but will go right to hell. Not one goat will be saved…

The way God works and the way God will lead the sheep out of that false church is, he will find a way to lead a person who is already saved (a saint or a preacher) to make contact with that sheep. Somehow or someway, God will arrange it so that that sheep will come in contact with a person who is already saved. That sheep might meet that saved person on their job or at their school, or might meet them in the beauty parlor or at the grocery store (or talk to them online). You never can tell when you might someone who is a true saint of God and is truly saved. Once contact is made, that saved person will invite the sheep to come to their church or in some fashion will lead and guide the sheep to a true saved church. Once the sheep comes in contact with a true saved church, something within them will tell them that that church is right one, and they will feel that it is right. That sheep will then stay at the true saved church and will be saved. They will not go back to the false church they were at. And that is how God works…

My point is, it does not matter how many years that sheep may have been sitting in that false church. It does not matter what kind of false information that sheep may have been told or given. And that sheep might even think they are already saved too. But none of it even matters. Once the real voice of God comes along, once God sends someone to that sheep to make contact with them, the sheep will follow it. That sheep will recognize the voice of God calling to them and will follow it. That sheep may not understand why they are following it either, but they will follow it. God will lead them to a true saved church where they can be saved… My pastor has always taught us that “sheep begat sheep”. Meaning, if you are a sheep and is saved, then God will always find a way to lead you to another person who is a sheep. That is how God works. He will lead someone who is already saved to another person who is a sheep. And God will work through them to save that sheep. God saves the sheep one sheep at a time until all the sheep are saved. Not one sheep will be lost…

As for all those people still in false churches? They are all going straight to hell. Right now today, there are huge mega churches with thousands of members. But they are all going straight to hell and not one person in those churches are saved. They think they are saved, but they are not. They think they are worshipping God, but they are not. They are worshipping Lucifer…

As proof it’s not about what is said, but it’s about whether you’re a sheep, even if a saint invites a person who is a goat to come with them to a true saved church. And even if that goat goes with them. That does not mean the goat will be saved. That goat will sit in a true saved church and will hear the same truth being taught but will reject everything that is being said. Rather than accepting the truth, the goat will reject it and will reject everything. That is the nature of a goat. No amount of information will convince a goat to be saved. Whereas, sheep are easy to convince. With a sheep, all you have to say is “follow me.” If your voice is the voice of God and if God is working through you, then rest assured, that sheep will follow…

Understand, it’s not logic. So stop trying to use your natural mind to figure it out. It’s not based on logic or on what you think is logical. But it’s based on the nature of the soul. If you are a sheep, then you will be saved. If you are a goat, then you will not…

      • Jeff, I hate to tell you this but you’ve been fed some serious BS. You’re saying that the church you attend determines whether or not you’re saved. When did Jesus ever teach that?

Maybe you should focus more on scripture, which is the word of God and make Jesus the center of your life rather than your church.

Jesus said “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life”.

He did not say “My sheep hear my voice and I know them and I will make sure they attend the right church so that I may give them eternal life”.

It’s not about which church you attend. It’s about whether or not you know Jesus.

      • Vincent, if you believe that then you are deceived. The bible clearly states there is only one Lord, one Faith, and one Baptism:

Ephesians 4:5 – one Lord (Jesus Christ), one Faith (the Apostles’ Doctrine) and one Baptism (the Baptism in Jesus Name)…

Either you have that one faith or you don’t (the word “faith” in that scripture is referring to “doctrine” – the kind of doctrine your church teaches). If your church does not follow the Apostles’ Doctrine 100%, then you are on your way to hell…

The original church Jesus set up started with the “apostle’s doctrine”. And that is the doctrine you must follow. All other doctrines are of the devil…

Acts 2:42 – And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers….

Regarding that statement, “my sheep hear my voice”, a sheep would have to go to a true saved church to even hear the voice of Jesus (which is the voice of a sent preacher). The voice of Jesus is not in a false church. The only voice in a false church is the devil. You cannot remain in a false church and be saved…

      • Vincent…

In a real true saved church, a true sent preacher teaches only the “truth” whether you agree with that truth or not. And only the truth can save you. The reason you believe as you do is because you’ve never actually met a real true sent preacher. All you have known are “false” preachers and “false” churches. And I am indeed aware that in many false churches today, there are lay members who freely question the pastor and says all kinds of things. But that sort of thing does not happen in our church and nor has it ever happened. If anyone attempted such a thing in a real true saved church, they are subject to drop dead. God himself would strike that person down for even having the nerve or gall to question a true sent preacher (and there are multiple examples in the scriptures of God dropping people dead and bringing harsh judgement upon those who question a man of God – see further below). You might get away with such a thing in a false church, but make no mistake about it – you will not get away with it in a true saved church…

In fact, that is the very reason God does not lead people who are “goats” to a true saved church. False churches can easily be found today, as there is nearly one on every street corner (the Baptist, the Methodist, the Catholics, Mormons, Presbyterian, Jehovah Witness etc – are all false churches – they are not of God). Whereas, true saved churches (the ones following the Apostles’ Doctrine 100%) are very rare. They are so rare that about the only way you will ever find one is God must lead you to one. And if you are a goat, then God will never lead you to one. The reason is because if he did, a goat still won’t be saved and will only cause problems for the pastor. A goat will sit in church and will think bad thoughts and will question everything the pastor says. A goat will assume and think they know more than the pastor. And God does not have time for such nonsense. Keep in mind, a true sent preacher gets his information from God. So to question a sent preacher is to question God. And if you question God, then God is subject to drop you dead. Therefore, if you are a person who doesn’t have the right kind of mind that God wants (the mind of a sheep – someone who’s humble and submissive and desiring to be saved) then God will never lead you to a true saved church. Instead, he’ll just let you stay right where you are (in a false church where you can freely question that pastor and think bad thoughts all you want) and you will go right to hell…

The following are some examples of God bringing harsh judgment up on those who question a true sent preacher…

        Example 01…

Acts 5:3 – But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 … thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things… (…at the words of Peter, Ananias dropped dead for lying to a true sent preacher (the Apostle Peter)…

Acts 5:7 – And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. 8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. 9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. 10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: (…when his wife came in, she also dropped dead because she had been in cahoots with her husband)…

        Example 02…

Numbers 16:13 – Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us? (…in this scripture, Korah rises up against Moses and has the nerve to question a man of God. Korah asks, Have you brought us out of Egypt and into the wilderness to die? To make yourself a ruler over us? God became very angry and wroth at what Korah had said…)

Numbers 16:15 – And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them. 16 And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the LORD, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow… (…in this scripture, Moses is telling Korah and those who has agreed with Korah to meet him in the door of the tabernacle on tomorrow…)

Numbers 16:19 – And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation. 20 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, 21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. …(…in this scripture, God is immensely angry with Korah and with all those who has sided with him, and God is telling Moses and Aaron to step aside and that he will consume them in a moment, meaning he will slay them where they stand…)

Numbers 16:20 – And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. 25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him. 26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins. 27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side… (…in this scripture, God commands Moses to tell the people of the congregation to separate themselves from Korah and from all his possessions. To separate themselves from everything related to Korah lest they be consumed by Korah’s sins…

Numbers 16:27 – …and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children. 28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind. 29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me. 30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD… (…in this scripture, now that the congregation has separated themselves from Korah and from his little group (notice that even Korah’s wives and children are all standing with him) Moses passes judgment. Moses says, hereby ye shall know that God has sent me to do these things. If these men die a common and ordinary death, then the Lord has not sent me. But if the Lord make a new thing and cause the earth to open her mouth and to swallow these men up, then you shall know that God is with me and that you have provoked the Lord…)

Numbers 16:31 – And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: 32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. 33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. 34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also… (…in this scripture, as soon as Moses had finished speaking, the ground opened up under Korah and swallowed them all – including their family and children and all their possessions – they all fell down alive into the earth and right into hell. That is what happens to people who question a true sent preacher and man of God…)

        Example 03…

2 Kings 2:23 – And he (the Prophet Elijah) went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them 25 And he went from thence to mount Carmel, and from thence he returned to Samaria… (…in this scripture, there were a group of children who decided to mock the man of God – the prophet Elijah – as he was passing by. As the prophet Elijah was passing by, the children mocked him saying “Go up bald head man, Go up with your bald head”. The Prophet Elijah then turned and cursed the children. The scriptures say that immediately there came two “she bears” out of the woods and tore the children to pieces…)

Conclusion – Make no mistake about it, that same God of Israel is still alive and well today (his name is Jesus Christ). And make no mistake about it, real true sent preachers still exist as well. You may not have ever met one, but rest assured, they still do exist. Such preachers who are sent by God have the power to save your soul… But they also have the power to put you on an express elevator to hell if you give them reason to… To further underscore this point, in the scriptures, God says…

Isaiah 54:17 – No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD….

The Lord promises every true sent preacher that “no weapon formed against thee shall prosper.” God will make sure of it. God defends his true sent preachers 100%. As a quick example of this, many years ago, my pastor (a true sent preacher) says that a man came up to him on the street. The man pointed a gun in his face and pulled the trigger 3 or 4 times. The gun wouldn’t go off. My pastor says he reached up and snatched the gun away from the man and pointed it toward the ground and pulled the trigger 3 times. My pastor says the gun went off 3 times. My pastor then handed the gun back to the man, showing him that there was nothing wrong with his gun. My pastor says the man started trembling and shaking and ran off… That illustrates how no weapon formed against a man of God will ever prosper…

You clearly belong to a cult of the worst kind. You’ve placed your pastor in the position of God Himself, saying that he has the power and ability to save souls or send people straight to hell. You have given nearly the same power to yourself, as you have determined that not one single person in the vast majority of churches (which you’ve determined are all false/goat churches) is saved. The apostle Paul urged the people of Berea to search the Scriptures to make sure that what he was teaching was true (Acts 17), but apparently your pastor is far greater than Paul because anyone who questions him may very well drop dead. This is ridiculous and off-topic. Please stop spewing this garbage on here.

You correctly said that the right kind of mind to have is a humble one, but I don’t sense an ounce of humility in anything you’ve said here. You’re promoting harsh judgment and wrath, but I pray that God will open your eyes to see His mercy, compassion, grace, and the beauties of the new covenant.

You stated… “You’ve placed your pastor in the position of God Himself, saying that he has the power and ability to save souls or send people straight to hell.”…

Yes. Every true sent preacher is in the direct position of God himself. Whenever you deal with a sent preacher, you are in fact dealing with God. For God works through the sent preacher. This is confirmed via the following scriptures…

2 Corinthians 5:20 – Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God…

If you have even the least bit of intelligence, then you know what being an “ambassador” means, and you know what “being in Christ’s stead” means. An “ambassador” is a direct representative of those whom they are representing. In this case, a true sent preacher represents God. They speak on God’s behalf. And whatsoever they say, God himself backs it up 100% (just like the Unites States backs up their ambassadors 100%. Whatever the U.S. ambassador says, he speaks for the United States). You should already know this. If you don’t already know that then you are completely ignorant of the scriptures…

The following is another scripture which confirms this point:

Matthew 16:19 – And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven…

In the above scripture, Jesus is talking to Peter, his chief apostle (a sent preacher). Jesus is letting him know that whatsoever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatsoever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Do you even know what that means? It means, that if a sent preacher says you won’t be saved on earth (if he bind you) then you won’t be saved or make it to heaven. And God himself will confirm it. Likewise, no matter what crime or sin you have committed, if a sent preacher says you will make it and will be saved (if he looses you) then God himself will confirm that too and you will make it in. That is the power of a true sent preacher. That is a fact. And if you disagree with that fact, then you are calling God a liar and is disagreeing with the scriptures…

        —-

You stated… “The apostle Paul urged the people of Berea to search the Scriptures to make sure that what he was teaching was true (Acts 17)”…

Regarding your statement above, my bible does not say that. So I have no idea which bible you are reading. Any bible version (translation) other than the original King James version is of the devil…

        —–

You stated… “…but apparently your pastor is far greater than Paul because anyone who questions him may very well drop dead. This is ridiculous and off-topic. Please stop spewing this garbage on here.”…

You say that what I said is ridiculous and off-topic. I beg to differ. In my previous post to Vincent, I gave multiple examples supported by scripture of exactly that happening. In Acts 5th Chapter, he Apostle Peter himself dropped Ananias and Sapphira his wife dead for lying to the Holy Ghost. In the Book of Numbers 16th Chapter, Moses caused Korah – including his wives and children and all who agreed with him – he caused the ground to open up and he dropped them all into hell for questioning a sent preacher. In the Book of 2 Kings, the prophet Elijah cursed a group of children who had been making fun of him. Immediately after cursing them, the scriptures say there came from the woods two “she bears” that ripped the children to pieces. It is all in scripture, and shows the power of a sent man of God. So do you deny what the scripture says? Do you call those scriptures a liar? Feel free to get mad all you want. Even stomp your feet all you want. But it doesn’t change the truth. Not one word of what I’ve said to you is false. So please stop spewing your hatred and nonsense that something is false when in fact it is true…

        —–

You stated… “You correctly said that the right kind of mind to have is a humble one, but I don’t sense an ounce of humility in anything you’ve said here. You’re promoting harsh judgment and wrath, but I pray that God will open your eyes to see His mercy, compassion, grace, and the beauties of the new covenant.”…

The only thing you’re sensing is that I’m not compromising with the devil, and I will never compromise with what I know is false. False churches may compromise with you but I don’t compromise – and neither does Jesus Christ. I have been taught well by a true sent preacher and I know what I’m talking about. Therefore, I am bold when I speak, but it is not arrogance. My words are not about judgment and wrath. Instead, my words are about telling you the truth, even if you don’t like the truth or disagree with it. Lastly, you cannot pray for me because you are not even saved. But I can pray for you, and I hope God will open your eyes…

        —–

Nonetheless, despite all of your disagreements, do you know what your core problem is?… The real true source of your problems is that – you’re getting your information from the devil and not from God. For example, all those things you believe, where did you get it from? And who told you that those things are right? If it didn’t come from a true sent preacher then it is of the devil. And I already know it didn’t come from a true sent preacher because you don’t even like preachers and you trust them even less. I can’t really blame you for what you believe, because I know you only believe what you have been taught. I can only tell you in all sincerity that you have been deceived by Lucifer and sold a pack of lies by people who aren’t even saved. You cannot get information from people who are not even saved and expect to get the truth. Even reading the bible for yourself – that is not truth either, because you are relying upon your own carnal understanding, which is Lucifer’s playground. God is spiritual and to understand God, you must get your understanding from a true sent preacher. You cannot get on your knees and communicate with God in an attempt to bypass the preacher. It doesn’t work that way (in such a case, only the devil will hear your prayers, and the devil will indeed answer your prayers to deceive you and to make you assume it is God). Instead, the only way to communicate with God and to learn about God is by listening to his “ambassadors” on earth, who are the true sent preachers. The true sent preachers speak for God and they represent God. For they are his ambassadors. In a subsequent post, I will explain in more detail about why you need a sent preacher watching over you and why you cannot be saved without one…

PART I… The Bible Was Written Only For The Preacher…

The biggest mistake most people make today is they have assumed that anyone can read the bible for themselves and be saved. That is not true. That is a lie propagated by Lucifer and will send your soul to hell. The reality is, you cannot be saved without a true sent preacher watching over you. Even the Holy Ghost comes down through a true sent preacher. A sent preacher must always be present in order to receive the Holy Ghost and you cannot be saved without it. Not only that, but you cannot even believe in God without a true sent preacher. This is confirmed in Romans 10:14 which states, “…and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent?…” Another scripture which confirms this is Mark 16:16 which states, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned.” Since you cannot believe in God without believing in the sent preacher, that scripture actually means: “He that believeth in the words of the true sent preacher, and is baptized, shall be saved.”…

Another fallacy people has believed is they have believed the bible was written for everyone, and that God wants everyone to read the bible. That is not true. The bible was written only for the sent preacher and not for anyone else. This is confirmed by the following scripture…

2 Timothy 3:16 – All scripture (from Genesis to Revelation) is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God (the sent preacher) may be perfect (perfect in his work of the ministry) throughly furnished unto all good works….

Yet, despite what the above scripture says, there are countless people all around the world today who has assumed the bible was written for everyone and that they can read it for themselves and can understand it. But that is not true and is a lie. The scriptures in the bible were written in a “mystery”. And God giveth the understanding of the scriptures only to his sent preachers. Only a sent preacher is able to understand the true meaning of the scriptures. Jesus himself confirms this fact in the following scripture:

Matthew 13:10 – And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given…. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand…

In the above scripture, the disciples asks Jesus why he always speak to people in parables or a mystery rather than saying things clearly. Jesus replies, “It is given unto you (the send preachers) to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them (those who are not sent) it is not. 13 …I speak to them in parables (mysteries) because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand…” In other words, Jesus is making it very clear it is not the will of God that people who are not sent preachers should understand the meaning of the scriptures. Although anyone can pick up the bible and read the scriptures, they won’t understand what those scriptures means (that is why Jesus said – “seeing they see not and hearing they hear not, and neither do they understand”). And God has it fixed that way. Lay members and people who are not sent preachers, are not meant to understand the true meaning of the scriptures. Which means, if you’re not a sent preacher, then the only way you can find out the truth and know what the scriptures truly mean is you must get it from a true sent preacher. All other sources of information is false…

Consider this… Right now on YouTube there are countless people online expressing their opinions about the scriptures. Everyone thinks they are an expert and is saying they are right. But how many of those same people got their info from a true sent preacher? Answer: None of them did. Therefore, their opinions are all of the devil and will send their souls to hell. Those people are not of God. They are “workers of iniquity” whom Jesus shall cast into the lake on Judgment Day. To know the truth, it must come from a true sent preacher…

Now imagine yourself standing before the eternal God on Judgment Day and he asks you why did you reject my words of truth? He then has an angel to show a giant printout of this exact conversation. What will you say? And do you think there is anything you could say that would save your soul?…

        Like

      • Vincent, you stated… “Jesus said “anyone who believes in me I will give eternal life” and those are the words I believe.”…

Answer: Yes, but what did he mean by it?… That same Jesus said through the Apostle Paul…

Romans 10:14 – …and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent?…

The above scripture confirms… You can’t even believe in God without believing in the words of a true sent preacher. You’ve never seen God at any time or heard his voice, so how can you believe in him? Answer: You can’t. All you can do is believe in the words of a true sent preacher when he tells you that God exists. If you believe in his words, then God counts that as “believing in God”…

        —-

Being ignorant of the scriptures will not save you on Judgment Day. For example, if “believing in God” was as simple as you think and was the only requirement, and if that was what Jesus had truly meant, then even the devil believes in God…

James 2:19 – Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble…

But is the devil saved? Answer: No. All devils shall be cast into the lake… That should tell you right there it takes more than “just believing” to be saved…

        —-

Concerning being ignorant of the scriptures and ignorant about what the scriptures truly mean, countless people will face a “rude awakening” on Judgment Day before they are cast into the lake. And gays and lesbians are a good example of this. God makes it very clear in the scriptures how he feels about gays and that being gay is an abomination before God. The following are some examples…

Leviticus 18:22 – “Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind, it is abomination.”

Romans 1:26 – For this cause God gave them up unto VILE AFFECTIONS… for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature… MEN WITH MEN working that which is unseemly… (gays love to think what they feel for each other is “love” and is the same as what a man feels for a woman. But God says not so. God says what gays feel is only “vile affections” and not love)… 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, THAT THEY WHICH COMMIT SUCH THINGS ARE WORTHY OF DEATH… (notice that God says gays are “worthy of death”)…

Jude 1:7 – Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for AN EXAMPLE, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire… (notice the scripture says the reason God destroyed Sodom and Gomorraha was to set an “example” before the world of what would happen to those who followed after Sodom and Gomorrah and committed gay acts and such like)…

Yet, despite all those clear warnings in the scriptures of how God feels about gays and his harsh punishment upon those who commit gay acts, you still have countless people today who are happily embracing being gay as though it is a good thing – gay rights, gay parades, same-sex marriages – fools they are. They are the biggest fools in the history of the universe and will face a rude awakening on Judgment Day. Do you think on Judgment Day God is going to say to gays – “I forgive you” and come on into heaven? Not so. Every single gay person who comes up before God shall be cast into the lake. Once those first gays are cast into the lake, that will strike unimaginable fear and terror into the millions of other gays still waiting to be judged. Because they will then know they are going into the lake too and they cannot avoid it. My main point is that, God makes it very clear in the scriptures how he feels about gays and he warns people not to do it. Yet despite all the warnings in the scriptures, countless people ignore God and do it any way. Those same people will face a rude awakening on Judgment Day and their ignorance will not save them…

The same thing applies to people who are ignorant of the scriptures and who don’t know what the scriptures truly mean (only a sent preacher knows what the scriptures truly mean). They too will face a rude awakening on Judgment Day (when they find out that certain scriptures actually meant something else). Countless people today who think they are saved will find out on Judgment Day they’ve never been saved a day in their life. They will discover they were hoodwinked and deceived by Lucifer. In short… the only way to keep from being deceived is to get your information from a true sent preacher (God’s “ambassadors” on earth). That is the only way you can know for certain if what you think and believe is true. If you get your information from any other source, it can sent you to the lake…

      • What do you hope to accomplish here, Jeff? You believe we’re all unsaved, and that the only way we’ll get saved is through a “true sent preacher.” So why aren’t you trying to introduce us to one of these preachers? Is your pastor in a network of true sent preachers? Do they have a website? Do you consider yourself to be one of these preachers (perhaps in training), or do you just belong to one such church? (Surely all the true sent preachers believe exactly the same things, since they always hear directly from God, never lie, etc.) Do you have compassion for us and want us to get saved, or do you just intend to keep condemning us and telling us we’re on the way to hell?

      • Adam…

I stated clearly in my previous posts that real true churches and real sent preachers are very rare. They are so rare that about the only way you will ever find one is God must lead you to one. But I also stated, that if your heart is not right and if you don’t have the right kind of mind that God wants (the mind of a sheep) then God would never lead you to one…

I would never give you the name and address of the church I belong to on a public forum like this, first of all because there are all kinds of crazies in the world today (people who are being used by Lucifer, and Lucifer hates the saints and wants to do saints harm) who if they had such information they might seek to do harm to our church. For that reason, I’d never give it to you publicly. But if I had met you in real life or if I knew you personally, then I might would invite you to our church. But the main thing to know and realize is that our church is not the only true saved church on the planet. There are indeed other saved churches though they are rare. To find such a church, I can indeed give you enough information to allow you to begin searching for one. But beyond that, the Lord himself must lead you to one. I say that because only the Lord knows your heart and intent. I have no idea what your real motives are. I have no idea if you are truly seeking to be saved or whether you’re just a “skeptic” seeking to satisfy your curiosity. God doesn’t have time for fools seeking to satisfy their curiosity. Instead, God allows such people to stay where they are so they can continue on to hell…

To find a true saved church, the main thing to look for and the hallmark of a true saved church is they “must follow the Apostles’ Doctrine 100%”. That is the key thing. Following the Apostles’ Doctrine 100% means “doing everything like the apostles did it”. It means teaching the same things the apostles taught, believing the same things the apostles believed, and baptizing the same way the apostles baptized. In that regard… the Baptist, the Methodist, the Catholics, the Church of Christ, the Church of God in Christ, the Presbyterian, the Mormons, the Jehovah Witness, and countless others – those churches DO NOT follow the apostles or baptize the same way the apostle’s baptized people. Therefore, they are not saved. All the apostles baptized “in the name of Jesus Christ” according to Acts 2:38. All of them did. And there are numerous scriptures in the bible which shows people being baptized that way (see Acts 2:37-42, Acts 8:26-39, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:1-6). In contrast to that, all the false churches baptize by saying “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” according to Matthew 28:19. In regards to Matthew 28:19, yes Jesus did say those words, but what did he mean by it? That is the key question. Most people do not realize it but Jesus said those words in a “mystery”. And before you can do what Jesus said, you must first solve the mystery (false churches are only “repeating” what Jesus said without even solving the mystery). To make a long story short, the key to the mystery is this: The “name of the Father” is Jesus (see John 5:43). The “name of the Son” is Jesus (see Matthew 1:21). And the name of the “Holy Ghost” is Jesus (see John 14:26). All of those words – Father, Son and Holy Ghost – are actually only “titles” and not “names”. Yet they all have the very same name of “Jesus”. Therefore, in a mystery, Jesus was telling his disciples to go baptize “in the name of Jesus Christ”. That is exactly what that scripture meant and that is exactly what they did. That is precisely why the Apostle Peter in Acts 2:38 said to, “Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the give of the Holy Ghost.”. Numerous scriptures throughout the book of Acts shows people being baptized “in the name of Jesus Christ”. Yet, not one person was ever baptized “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” in the bible. Not even one…

Therefore, every church that is baptizing people according to Matthew 28:19 is a false church. And every person who has been baptized that way is not saved. Do not kid yourself and do not be deceived – you are not saved. To become saved, you must find yourself a real church and get baptized the right way – in the name of Jesus Christ, like Acts 2:38 says. Once you have received the Holy Ghost, only then are you truly saved…

If you are looking for a true saved church, then the first thing you should do is to find a church that baptizes “in the name of Jesus Christ” according to Acts 2:38 (and no, your pastor in a false church cannot baptize you in Jesus Name. He’s not saved himself, therefore, he is not authorized to baptize you. To be saved, you must find a church that is already saved). The good news is, there is an easy way to narrow it down. To find a true saved church, search for a church in the following categories, “Pentecostal, Apostolic, or Jesus Only”. Virtually all “Jesus Only” churches today are saved churches (the very reason they call themselves “Jesus Only” is because they baptize ONLY in the name of Jesus Christ). So also are most Apostolic churches saved (so long as they baptize only in the name of Jesus Christ). But if it’s a Pentecostal Church, you must look closer and verify they baptize in the name of Jesus Christ and not Matthew 28:19. As alarming as it may sound, there are a large number of Pentecostal churches today that still baptize according to Matthew 28:19. And every Pentecostal church that does that is not saved. You must be baptized “in the name of Jesus Christ” to be saved. There are no exceptions to that rule…

If you follow my instructions above, then God will lead you to a true saved church – so long as you are a sheep. If you are not a sheep, then he may not.

One final thing I’d like to mention before I close… Do you know why every one of those false churches baptize “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” according to Matthew 28:19? Answer: They do it because it is written in their church laws and church doctrine, and is a part of their religious creed. And do you know where their “religious creed” came from and who wrote it? Answer: The Roman Catholic Church. They all have the very same creed as the Roman Catholic Church. They all follow the very same creed and doctrine as the Roman Catholic Church. It is written in their laws and they cannot deviate from it. Which confirms – the Roman Catholic Church is the “Mother of Harlots”. All those false churches are her “harlots” out on the street corners of the world teaching her doctrine. In contrast, those churches that baptize “in the name of Jesus Christ” are not following the Roman Catholic Church. But instead, they are following the apostles. They are the “one true church” and the only church that will be saved…

      • Jeff, I still think you’re way off base with your “true sent preacher” and “true saved church” stuff, as you are clearly an extremist, but you bring up an interesting point about the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.

Adam, It’s recently come to my attention that the strongest verse in support of the Trinity doctrine may actually have been falsified by the RCC. 1 John 5:7-8. Also known as “Comma Johanneum”. Compare the KJV to other translations such as NIV and there’s a huge and important difference.

Although Matthew 28:19 still uses the same phrase, and I’m not sure the explanation by Jeff makes much sense, but it’s really got me thinking, in light of the Comma Johanneum issue.

Adam, I would love for you to do a study on this issue, as for me personally the concept of the Trinity has come into question. And although I agree that Jerusalem is the whore, for various reasons, I also accept that the RCC had a lot of influence on scripture and that worries me.

      • Vincent, I will consider doing a study on the doctrine of the Trinity. It’s a subject that I’ve shied away from for a long time, and I’m also aware that those who formulated this doctrine murdered those who disagreed with them.

      • I didn’t even know that, but now you’ve made it even more interesting. 🙂 I know it’s one of those “sacrilegious” topics that one could be vilified for, for even questioning (not unlike the holocaust), but the truth is worth finding out.

      • Vincent, you stated… “…but the truth is worth finding out”…

You’re not searching for truth… The truth is the very things I’ve been telling you (which you have rejected). Instead, all you’re searching for is that which agrees with your own ideas, concepts, and opinions. Anything which hits up against or is contrary to your own ideas, concepts and opinions – you reject it. And you’ll reject it even if it’s the truth (no surprise there – that is what goats do). So feel free to continue searching all you want until you find what you’re looking for. And when you find it – if you find it – then feel free to grab on to it and to hold it tight. But just know, that very thing you’re latching on to will take your soul to hell. And you will remember my words when you get there…

Sorry I haven’t been responding more often. I’ve been tied up with other matters. Concerning your statement above to Vincent, you guys still don’t get it do you – you still think you can read books or study the bible and come up with truth. That is not possible. All you’ll come up with is the devil (and that is the very problem you’re having now, all your info is coming from the devil. Whenever your info is coming from people who are not saved, then it is coming from the devil). There is no truth outside of that which comes from the true sent preacher.

The very answers you’re searching for, we already know. The very truth you’re looking for we’ve known about for thousands of years. We’re not in the dark. We know the truth and we see the truth clearly. The only problem is, people like you don’t want to accept the truth that we’ve been telling you. But make no mistake about it, the things I’ve said is the same truth you will face on Judgment Day, and the eternal God will confirm every word I have said. And, as I said to Vincent earlier, his only question to you will be – Why did you reject it?… Why did you reject my words of truth?…

Vincent feels that I’m an extremist. If that is the case, then God himself is an extremist, and the bible teaches extremism. Because everything I have said is backed up by bible. But make no mistake about it, there is a day coming when you yourself will wish to God you were a part of this “extremist religion”. Because all other religions and all other beliefs shall be cast into the lake…

        Like

      • Vincent… I’ve already responded to your reply once, but I will now respond again from a different standpoint… I had asked you earlier that if you were standing before the eternal God on Judgment Day and he asks you why did you reject my words of truth, What would you say? and Do you think there is anything you could say that would save your soul?… You then replied that your response would be: “Jesus said ‘anyone who believes in me I will give eternal life’ and those are the words I believe”…

I want to say, if that is your response on Judgment Day, then you are bound for the lake and you might as well get ready for it… That reply will by no means save you. For starters, you don’t even know what that scripture means (although I’ve since explained it to you in my previous post). I explained how it is not possible to believe in God without believing in the words of the sent preacher. And that is something you have never done. Ask any true sent preacher and he will tell you that to be saved you must – “Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38). Until you have done that, then you are not saved, no matter who you are. And there are no exceptions to that rule. If you do not follow Acts 2:38 and receive the Holy Ghost, then you shall be cast into the lake on Judgment Day and nothing can save you…

Another problem you have is that, on Judgment Day, you won’t be dealing with a man but with an eternal God who knows everything. You might be able to lie to a man and pull the wool over his eyes but you’ll never be able to lie to God or pull anything over his eyes. God knows everything about you, even your deepest secrets and ulterior motives, and he will know those things on Judgment Day. Most people do not realize it but God has the ability to record even your thoughts as easily as someone can make an audio recording. And God has angels that are recording every evil thought and every evil deed you’ve ever committed from the moment you are born until the day you die, and those records are stored in heaven. And on Judgment Day, those records will be played back and used against you…

That is why if you said the above on Judgment Day, then God would already know you are lying and being deceitful. He would already know you are not being honest. He would already know that you have already been told countless times that you need to do more than “just believe” to be saved (and he has recordings of each time someone told you that). And each time someone said it, you “rejected it”. You rejected it because you didn’t want to do what they said. You rejected it because you didn’t want to give up your current belief and to give up sin. You didn’t want to listen to anyone tell you what to do. And you especially didn’t want to listen to a preacher. Instead, you wanted to keep on doing what you are doing and reading the bible for yourself and pretending to be saved and believing what you currently believe. And you felt that somehow on Judgment Day, you’d still be saved. But you were wrong. And on Judgment Day, the full reality of that choice will hit you in the face when you are cast into the lake…

Across all the years of your life, your every encounter with “truth” is recorded by the angels and will stand against you on Judgment Day. Even this conversation between you and me now, the angels have a copy of it in heaven. And if you do not get saved, this conversation will be used against you. God will use my very words to condemn you and to send you to the lake. On Judgment Day, you cannot say you did not know about a true sent preacher. You cannot say you did not know about Acts 2:38. You cannot say you did not know you had to do more than “just believe” to be saved. You cannot use any of those excuses on Judgment Day, because God will already know that I’ve made you aware of it. And his only question to you on Judgment Day will be – Why did you reject it?… Why did you reject my words of truth?… And unless you can provide the Lord with a very good answer that will save your soul (and you won’t be able to because the Lord will already know the truth about you and that you rejected the opportunity to get saved because you didn’t want to give up your current belief and you didn’t want to give up sin) you shall be cast into the lake…

And once in the lake, you will spend an eternity in those flames hating yourself and asking yourself why. Why did you not pay more attention to the things I had said. And why did you reject my words of truth that could have saved your soul…

      • I’ve been tempted to delete this entire conversation, but no one else is discussing the content of this post, so I’m letting it go for now. Jeff, this post is about the 10 horns of Revelation 17 and how they had nothing to do with Brexit and the European Union. If you want to give your interpretation of Revelation 17, that’s fine, even if I don’t agree. You’ve gone off on a huge tangent about your pastor who can do and say no wrong, about goat churches, about people dropping dead and going to hell, etc. That’s what I said is off topic. It’s off topic from this post you’re commenting on.

I’m not at all surprised that you’re a believer in “King James only.” This is also typical of more than one cult. To accommodate you, though, here is Acts 17:10-12 in the KJV:

“And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.”

Of course, this disproves your crazy idea that “The bible was written only for the sent preacher and not for anyone else… The scriptures in the bible were written in a ‘mystery’. And God giveth the understanding of the scriptures only to his sent preachers. Only a sent preacher is able to understand the true meaning of the scriptures.” This is so anti-new covenant, I’m almost speechless.

In Christ, God has made all of His people “kings and priests” (Revelation 1:6).

We have all received His anointing and don’t need others to teach us: “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him” (KJV again).

“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest” (Hebrews 8:10-11).

I could share plenty more examples that contradict what you are saying, but I’m about to head out again for a few hours. I’m not impressed by your pastor/preacher at all, and I’m convinced that he doesn’t speak on behalf of God.

      • Adam…

It is your blog and you can do whatever you want. But if you think deleting my posts will hurt my feelings, you are wrong. It will not bother me one iota (I am used to people like you). You’d only be hurting yourself because everything I’ve said will still stand against you on Judgment Day whether you delete my posts or not. Even if you delete them, the angels in heaven will still have a copy of it…

Deleting my posts will not change the truth, and nor will it make your personal views and opinions right. As I stated earlier, the Mother of Harlots spoken of in the Book of Revelation is in fact the Roman Catholic Church. My pastor has confirmed this and he has confirmed it with God. So if you believe anything else, then you are believing a lie. A lie that will take your soul to hell…

        —-

You keep saying that I went off topic and on some other “tangent” but that is not the case. Everything I have said is perfectly relevant to the original topic. It is relevant because the original topic was about Brexit and the 10 horns of Revelation. I explained to you that the 10 horns is not in the past but is in the future. I even provided scriptures to back it up (scriptures which you disagreed with). I stated the 10 horns are the 10 kings which will be set up by the Antichrist in the coming future (confirmed in Revelation 17:12). And that they are the same 10 kings which will attack Vatican City and burn it to the ground (confirmed in Revelation 17:16). Vatican City is the seat and power of the Roman Catholic Church – which is the Mother of Harlots and mother of all false churches in the world today. My pastor has confirmed this fact with God. But you disagreed with that fact (all because you cannot accept the idea that you yourself are not saved) and has stated the Mother of Harlots was somehow Jerusalem (–which is God’s beloved city. What sort of twisted mind could even think such a thing?! Answer: Someone taken over by Lucifer). I stated you were wrong and that it has been confirmed by God that the Mother of Harlots is the Roman Catholic Church. Therefore, everything I said was perfectly relevant and still on topic….

The only reason we got into the sent preacher debate was because you had discounted the importance of a true sent preacher. You refused to believe that my pastor was a true sent preacher as I have stated (yet you have never met one, and wouldn’t know a true sent preacher even if you did). A true sent preacher gets his info directly from God (they are “ambassadors” for Christ) and is the only true source of information on the earth today. That means, if a true sent preacher tells you the Mother or Harlots is the Roman Catholic Church (and my pastor has said that it is), then God himself is saying that the Mother of Harlots is the Roman Catholic Church. End of story. True sent preachers speak in Christ’s stead and on God’s behalf. It is impossible for them to lie. And God backs them up 100%. So if you disagree with what a true sent preacher says, then you are disagreeing with God. And just because you’ve never met a true sent preacher before, that doesn’t mean they don’t exist…

        —-

You stated… “I’m not surprised that you’re a believer in “King James only.” This is also typical of more than one cult”…

False churches and people who are not saved are the very first ones to accuse some other religion of being a cult, when they themselves aren’t even saved and wouldn’t know a cult even if they were part of one. If you feel that way about the King James bible, then that is only further confirmation that you are not saved. Long story short… all those other bible translations has modified the scriptures. The original King James version is only english language translation that remains true to the original scriptures. No other bible translation is as close or as true to the original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts than the original King James version. If you have ever compared what is written in recent bible translations with the original King James version, you’d be appalled at just how much the recent bible translations has modified the scriptures. In some translations, whole sentences has been changed and modified to say something completely different from what the original scriptures said. And Jesus Christ takes a harsh view of anyone who does this and tampers with the scriptures… Revelation 22:18 states… “…if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life…” And that is precisely why those false translations are of the devil. If you can read those false translations and not have a problem with them, then something is wrong with your mind. Even plain common sense should tell you not to read and use those false bible translations. In contrast, it was the Lord himself who told my pastor to use only the original King James version bible. If you disagree with what the Lord says, then hell awaits thee…

        —-

Your quotation of Acts 17:10-12 does NOT in any way prove what you had originally said. You originally stated… “The apostle Paul urged the people of Berea to search the Scriptures to make sure that what he was teaching was true (Acts 17)”… That is what you had said. Yet that same verse quoted in the KJV does NOT say that. It says nothing at all about Paul “urging the people to search the Scriptures to make sure what he was teaching was true.” So you were wrong in your original statement, so why not admit it. But like most people, rather than admit it, you’d much rather change the topic…

        —-

You then had the nerve to state… “Of course this disproves your crazy idea that the bible was written only for the sent preacher and not for anyone else…”

Newsflash: Nothing you have said has disproven anything. Because everything I said is backed up by scripture (did you not even look at the scriptures I provided?). I provided you with two separate scriptures which utterly proves what I had said: 2 Timothy 3:16 states – “All scripture (from Genesis to Revelation) is given by the inspiration of God… that the man of God (the sent preacher) may be perfect and thoroughly furnished unto all good works…” That scripture plainly states the scriptures were written for the man of God (the sent preacher), and that fact has been confirmed by God through a true sent preacher. If you disagree with that fact, then you are disagreeing with God…

        —-

As further proof you need to stay away from those false bible translations… you then quoted a verse from Revelations 1:6. You stated… “In Christ, God has made all of His people “kings and priests (Revelation 1:6)…

Newsflash: If you read the original King James version, Revelation 1:6 does NOT say that. Instead, the KJV states…

Revelation 1:6 – And hath made us (the sent preachers) kings and priests unto God and his father, to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen…

That is what is says. That verse was referring to sent preachers and not to – “all of His people” – as you have stated. Even plain common sense should have told you your interpretation was wrong. If everyone (all of His people) were kings and priests, then who would be the ordinary people and citizens? Answer: There wouldn’t be any. So it perfectly illustrates why those new bible translations are of the devil, and why you should stay away from them. Those new bible translations has completely changed the scriptures. It’s no wonder you’re so screwed up and so confused…

I’ve heard people say they don’t read the KJV because it’s difficult to read and hard to understand (Newsflash: You’re not supposed to understand it. It is only meant to be understood by a true sent preacher). People say that is the reason they read and use the other bible translations. It’s because they’re more easier to read and understand (Newsflash: Has it ever occurred to you that if you read those other bible translations which has modified the scriptures that you are in fact reading those translator’s “interpretation” of the scriptures? Those translators are not true sent preachers. They have no right or authority to “interpret” the scriptures. Yet, that is exactly what they are doing whenever they modify the scriptures. And if you read and accept their modifications (interpretations) then you are believing their lies, and it will send your soul to hell. Truth cometh only from a true sent preacher…

The original KJV is the only translation where the translator’s objectives was to do a straightforward translation without modifying the scriptures at all. That was their stated goal. And that is the version God himself has sanctioned…

        —-

You then stated… “We have all received His anointing and don’t need others to teach us…”

What you said is a lie. You attempt to quote the scripture in 1 John 2:14 to support your belief, but you overlook the fact that the “anointing” it speaks of was referring only to the sent preachers. Only the true sent preacher has the anointing of God. Lay members do not have it. But you have been deceived into believing that everyone has it. But that is a pack of lies that will take your soul to hell… As proof of this, consider the following scripture…

1 Timothy 4:14 – Neglect not the gift that is in thee (the anointing), which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery…

The above scripture is referring to the anointing as well. Paul is talking to Timothy who is a sent preacher. Notice that Paul says you received the gift (the anointing) by the “laying on of the hands of the presbytery”. That laying on of hands ceremony is in fact an “ordination ceremony” for preachers. It is how true sent preachers become sent. That ceremony is not something lay members ever participate in. Therefore, lay members do not have the anointing of God…

        —-

You then quote a scripture from Hebrews 8:10-11 to support what you said as well. But here are the things you are overlooking…

People who are not saved love to quote verses because they sound good. But just like Jesus had said – “seeing they see not and hearing they hear not, and neither do they understand” – they have no clue what those scriptures actually mean. And your quote is a perfect example of that… First of all, that scripture you quoted in Hebrews applies only to Israel. And secondly, you’re quoting the scripture out of context. That scripture is not talking about events in the past or about things currently, but is talking about an event in the future. If you read further up in that scripture, you will find that is true. It states:

Hebrews 8:7 – For if that first covenant had been faultless (God is referring to the first covenant he made with Israel a long time ago) then should no place have been sought for the second. 8 For finding fault with them he saith, Behold the days come (that means, that day has not come yet), saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. 9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. 10 For this is the covenant that I WILL make (this again confirms he has not made that new covenant with Israel yet) AFTER THOSE DAYS, saith the Lord (he is referring to a time in the future when God returns to Israel. He will establish a new covenant with them then. That event has not happened yet). I will put my laws into their mind and write the into their hearts, and I will be to them a God and they shall be to me a people… That whole entire scripture is directed at Israel and is not talking about the Church or to anyone else today. Therefore, you are using the scripture out of context…

        —-

You stated… “I could share plenty more examples that contradict what you are saying, “…

Contrary to your arrogant belief, you have not provided even a single example or scripture which has contradicted anything I have said. All you have done is quoted a pack of lies and nonsense which I have proven wrong. As I stated earlier, your core problem is that you are not getting your info from a true sent preacher. Instead, you’ve only been getting it from the devil and from false bibles and other sources. Be not deceived, if you continue believing all that nonsense rather than accepting the truth that I have told you, it will take your soul to hell…

So get mad and feel free to delete this conversation if you desire. But it won’t change the truth, and don’t think you’re somehow hurting me by doing it. Because you’re not. I could care less what you do and it matters not to me. And even if you delete it, the angels in heaven still have a copy of it. And most importantly, if you do not get saved – (by following Acts 2:38 and receiving the Holy Ghost) – then rest assured, this same conversation will come up again and it will stand against you on Judgment Day. On Judgment Day, God will indeed ask you why did you reject my words of truth… (before he casts you into the lake). Count on it…

        —-

You stated… “I’m not impressed by your pastor/preacher at all, and I’m convinced that he doesn’t speak on behalf of God.”…

A goat would say that. A goat cannot recognize the voice of God…

John 10:27 – My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me…

John 10:26 – But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep…

1 John 4:6 – We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us…

      • Jeff, the reason why I considered deleting this conversation is because, at this point, if a reader wants to ask a question or give feedback about the content of this post, it will be buried under this long-winded, drama-filled, and rather uncivil conversation (I regret my own harsh tone in a couple of places). If I were to delete it, I would save a copy of the whole thing for myself.

It’s actually not strange at all that the mother of harlots in Revelation would be Jerusalem and the old covenant system. Jesus referred to the house of Jerusalem as “desolate” in Matthew 23. He also repeatedly called His generation in Israel “adulterous”, “wicked”, “evil,” etc. Revelation makes contrasts earthly Jerusalem and New Jerusalem (Rev. 21-22). In Galatians 4:21-31 Paul makes the same contrast, saying that earthly Jerusalem was in slavery and in bondage but that heavenly Jerusalem is the mother of God’s people. Jesus and Paul were not “taken over by Lucifer.”

You said, “True sent preachers speak in Christ’s stead and on God’s behalf. It is impossible for them to lie. And God backs them up 100%. So if you disagree with what a true sent preacher says, then you are disagreeing with God.” Paul said to “let God be true but every man a liar” (Romans 3:4). There is no Scripture that says that there are certain people or certain “men of God” who can never tell a lie. You’re making this stuff up.

I was wrong in what I initially said about Acts 17 and I apologize. I was incorrect when I said that Paul urged the people of Berea to search the Scriptures. You are correct on that point. The truth is that Luke commended the people of Berea for searching the Scriptures daily to make sure Paul and Silas were speaking the truth (Acts 17:10-11). Yes, this is one of many examples which show that the Scriptures were not only meant for a special class of “sent preachers.”

I did look at the Scriptures you provided. In II Timothy 3:16-17 you inserted the phrase “the sent preacher” after “man of God.” You did the same thing in Revelation 1:6 where it says “us.” Here’s the KJV version of these two passages. The phrase “sent preacher” isn’t in there anywhere. You’re making this stuff up:

        https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=II+Timothy+3%3A16-17%2C+Revelation+1%3A6&version=KJV

Here’s the context of Revelation 1:6. I’ll quote Revelation 1:4-6 from the KJV:

        “4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”

John wrote to the seven churches in Asia. That was his audience. If “kings and priests” in verse 6 applies only to “true sent preachers,” then only the “true sent preachers” were loved and were washed from their sins in the blood of Christ (verse 5). It’s the same “us” – “loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father.” That “us” was John and the members of the seven churches in Asia.

Like it or not, “the ordinary people and citizens” of the kingdom of God are all kings and priests before God. Peter also said to everyone who believed (I Peter 2:7) that they were “a royal priesthood” (I Peter 2:9).

When John said “you have an anointing from the Holy One” (I John 2:20) he was addressing “little children” (I John 2:18). He said it again in I John 2:27, and I John 2:28 reveals that he was still addressing “little children.” Nowhere in that text does it say John was speaking only to “true sent preachers.” The fact that Paul spoke of the gift being in Timothy (I Timothy 4:14) doesn’t take away from the fact that John spoke of the anointing being in all of God’s people. You’re making this stuff up.

Hebrews 8:8-12 is a quote from Jeremiah 31:31-34. Jeremiah used future language because the new covenant wouldn’t be established in his own generation. The author of Hebrews applied that prophecy to his own generation in the first century. You said, “that day has not come yet…he is referring to a time in the future when God returns to Israel. He will establish a new covenant with them then. That event has not happened yet…” I’m sorry you see it that way. However, this is what the author of Hebrews said about Jesus in Hebrews 8:6 (KJV, of course):

“But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.”

Then he quoted from Jeremiah about the new covenant that Jeremiah said would be established in the future, and which the author of Hebrews clearly said had already been established. The new covenant absolutely was established for God’s people from every nation, as is affirmed repeatedly in the New Testament.

      • Adam you stated… “There is no Scripture that says that there are certain people or certain “men of God” who can never tell a lie. You’re making this stuff up….”

I beg to differ. There are all kinds of scriptures which confirm that fact (the following are only a few scriptures, I’m sure there are others)…

Hebrews 6:18 – That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie… (This first scripture confirms “it is impossible for God to lie”…)

Isaiah 44:26 – That confirmeth the word of his servant… (This scripture confirms that God also “confirms the word of his servant”. “Confirms” means he verifies it as being true. And who are his servants? Answer: The true sent preachers….)

Matthew 16:19 – …and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven… (In this scripture, Jesus is talking to the Apostle Peter and tells him that whatsoever he binds on earth shall be bound in heaven, etc. Jesus himself is therefore confirming that God confirmeth the word of his servant.)..

The above is “truth” that is backed up by scripture. It is utterly impossible for a man of God to lie if everything he says God makes happen and is confirming his word. If you disagree with this fact then you’re disagreeing with God…

      • Adam you stated… “It’s actually not strange at all that the mother of harlots in Revelation would be Jerusalem and the old covenant system. Jesus referred to the house of Jerusalem as “desolate” in Matthew 23.”…

What is strange is that your interpretation of the scriptures is completely false and wrong – and yet you’re still clinging to it. You’re still clinging to that same old lie and nonsense and is refusing to accept the idea that the Mother of Harlots is in fact the Roman Catholic Church. This has been confirmed by a true sent preacher who has confirmed it with God, so it’s not open for debate. Yet who has confirmed what you have said? Answer: Nobody. It’s just some personal conclusion you have reached in your own mind based on what the devil has told you. And it’s an opinion and conclusion that will send your soul to hell. I hope you realize though that by clinging to such an opinion, that you’re disagreeing with God and is calling God a liar. And anyone who calls God a liar shall be cast into the lake. I wouldn’t want to be you on Judgment Day…

And that’s only the beginning of your problems. Your whole blog is teaching false doctrine (you express opinions and views that are contrary to what God says). And Jesus Christ takes a very dim view of anyone who teaches false doctrine. He calls such people “workers of iniquity” – meaning, you are working “against” God, and is working for Lucifer. And on Judgment Day you shall be cast into the lake… It’s one thing to do things which condemn your own soul, but whenever you’re teaching false doctrine then you are endangering the souls of others. People who visit your blog will read all that nonsense and many will accept your lies into their heart. And the problem is, before those people can be saved, a sent preacher must work with those people and try to remove all that false information out of their heart and to replace it with truth. Otherwise, those people will never be saved. So people like you make a sent preacher’s job a lot harder. And that is the very reason why God hates false preachers and false teachers with a passion. And make no mistake about it – you are on that list…

The phrase “sent preacher” isn’t in there anywhere. You’re making this stuff up:.”…

You make the above statement as though it is important, when it is not important at all. In fact, if you had even the least bit of understanding or intelligence, then you’d already know your complaint is moot, and I wouldn’t have to waste my time explaining it:

        1) The terms “man of God” and “true sent preacher” are the exact same thing and can be used interchangeably. The fact that I used the term “true sent preacher” adjacent to the word “man of God” means nothing at all and nor does it change the meaning or context of the original sentence. I simply inserted the term “true sent preacher” for clarification purposes….

        2) My insertion of the term “true sent preacher” into a sentence was not an attempt or indication that I was “making things up”. Instead, if you understood english grammar properly, you’d already know that enclosing a word or statement in brackets into a sentence is a common method of adding additional information into a sentence to help clarify what it means without adding or taking away from the original sentence. Here is the exact definition of it from an english grammar dictionary online:

…”The most commonly used bracket in English is the parentheses. This pair of round brackets is used when a writer wants to add information to a sentence that will give greater detail to the information presented. However, the information is extra and not really necessary, which means that it can be removed with ease and without damaging the original information.”…

        3) A final thing you’re overlooking is I have told you repeatedly and time and again that God giveth the understanding of the scriptures only to his sent preachers and not to anyone else (this in confirmed in Matthew 13:11). The only way for you or anyone else to know the truth of what any scripture means is we must get our understanding from a true sent preacher. There are no exceptions to that rule. And if you disagree with that fact, then you are disagreeing with God. Having said all that… whenever I’m explaining the scriptures to someone, I will already know what those scriptures mean (because I’ve been taught well by a true sent preacher who has taught me what those scriptures mean, and my understanding is not coming from myself). But the problem is, the person I’m explaining it to will usually at best – has no clue about what the scripture means. And at worse – will have a completely erroneous and false understanding of it. And worse yet, will have an understanding that will lead them to hell if not changed. Therefore, it is very important for me to explain the scriptures I quote, and to explain what the scriptures mean, so there is no misunderstanding of anything I’m saying. Because if I don’t explain it, then most people would invariably get the wrong understanding of it (because they will rely on their own false understanding of it given to them by the devil). That is the reason I take great pains to explain every scripture I quote, to make sure a misunderstanding doesn’t happen. And the scripture you quoted in Revelation 1:6 is a good example of this. The following is what the actual scripture says (KJV):

Revelation 1:6 – And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father, to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen…

Your original argument to me was that God has made “all of His people” kings and priests (based on what your false bible had said). I then told you that was not true and that it was referring only to sent preachers. As proof of this, I then quoted the above scripture to defend my argument. But in quoting the above scripture, I also inserted the words “the sent preachers” for clarification purposes, as shown below:

Revelation 1:6 – And hath made us (the sent preachers) kings and priests unto God and his Father, to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen…

The words “the sent preachers” I added was not an attempt to “make things up” or to change the context or meaning of the original sentence. Instead, the extra words (shown in parenthesis) were added only for clarification purposes. The words were inserted to stress the fact that the word “us” in that sentence was talking only to the sent preachers and not to anyone else. I even confirmed this fact in my original post by saying in this scripture, Paul was talking to Timothy who is a “sent preacher”. Therefore, the word “us” is specifically referring to “sent preachers” and is not talking to lay members or to anyone else. That is a truth that is backed up by scripture, and it totally contradicts your original statement that God has made “all of His people” kings and priests.

And that is the purpose for which I added the words. If you had understood english grammar properly, you’d already know this.

Having said all that, you may be wondering how it is I know the word “us” in that scripture was specifically referring to “sent preachers” and not to a broader usage of the term as it applies to everyone. Answer: The reason I know it applies only to sent preachers is because I got my understanding from a true sent preacher, who got it from God. And God says that scripture was talking only to “sent preachers”. Countless times my pastor has referred to and quoted that scripture, and every single time he has stated it was talking only to the preachers. Therefore, there is no misunderstanding. I know that scripture was referring only to sent preachers. And if you believe anything else, you are disagreeing with God…

That is also the reason I know that everything else you been saying in all your other arguments are nothing but “lies” as well (which is why I don’t try to argue with you on every point you make, because it’s a complete waste of my time when everything you’re saying is nothing but lies). It’s because all your arguments contradict the words of a true sent preacher who has gotten their understanding from God. It doesn’t matter what you say or how you say it, it is all still lies that will sent your soul to hell. You can’t see the lies, but I see the lies clearly. And the reality is, Lucifer has you deceived. The biggest lie you believe, is you believe you can read the bible for yourself and can understand the scriptures as well as anyone else (including a sent preacher). But that’s a lie, and it never will be true. Jesus says although you may read the bible, you will never understand it or know what the scriptures truly mean. Instead, God giveth the understanding of the scriptures only to his sent preachers (this is confirmed in Matthew 13:11). But you disagree with God and you disagree with what he said. And anyone who disagrees with God shall be cast into the lake…

      • You know, Jeff, I would have never pointed out your own shortcomings when it comes to grammar and the English language, but since you want to play that game I’ll go ahead and let you know that I have more than a decade of experience as an English teacher and tutor, and I also receive side income as a proofreader and an editor. In order to expose your hypocrisy, I will go ahead and make a list of just some of the grammatical errors which I’ve noticed in your comments from only the last couple of days:

[1] When you castigated me for allegedly not properly understanding English grammar, you failed to capitalize “English” several times. That’s ironic.
[2] Numerous times you placed closed quotation marks (“) before the period at the end of a sentence instead of after it.
[3] You said, “But the problem is, the person I’m explaining it to will usually at best – has no clue about what the scripture means.” Not only is this sentence awkward, but there is a problem with verb-subject agreement here. It should be, “…the person will have…,” not “…the person will has…” That hyphen should be removed.
[4] You also said, “And at worse – will have a completely erroneous and false understanding of it.” This is not a complete sentence because it’s missing a subject. It should also be “at worst,” not “at worse.”
[5] You said, “The words ‘the sent preachers’ I added was not an attempt to ‘make things up’…” You should have used “were” instead of “was” (i.e. “…the words…were…”) because “words” is plural.
[6] You said, “That is also the reason I know that everything else you been saying in all your other arguments are nothing but ‘lies’ as well…” There are two errors in this sentence. The word “have” is missing. It should be “…you have been saying…” The word “everything” is treated as a singular unit, so it should be “everything…is nothing,” not “everything…are nothing.”
[7] Several times you said, “people has” or “people…who has.” However, “people” is plural and you should have said, “people have” or “people…who have.”
[8] You said, “Not one false preachers has ever seen or been in Rooms B or C.” That should be, “Not one false preacher has…”
[9] You said, “You’re still clinging to that same old lie and nonsense and is refusing to accept the idea…” That should be “and are refusing…”
[10] You said, “you’re disagreeing with God and is calling God a liar.” That should be “are calling,” not “is calling.”
[11] You said, “you guys still don’t get it do you–you still think you can read books…” This is a run-on sentence. It should be two sentences, not one. It’s also missing a question mark and a comma. Properly written, it should say, “You guys still don’t get it, do you? You still think you can read books…”
[12] You said, “the things I’ve said is the same truth you will face on Judgment Day.” Once again you used “is” where you should have used “are.” You would also need to make “truth” plural or just use the word “things” again.

I actually think you’re a decent writer, but I’m pointing out your hypocrisy since you decided to play this game. Or is your pastor also the final authority when it comes to English grammar?

A friend of mine used to be an Assistant Pastor at an Apostolic church. His senior pastor (apostle) tapped his phone, always had to know where he was and what he was doing, and tried to control every decision he made. It took a while, but thankfully he was finally able to flee from that oppressive place. I hope you’ll be able to do the same.

Revelation 1:6 is so very clearly addressed to “the seven churches which are in Asia” (Revelation 1:4). At no point in that passage did John possibly switch and address anyone else. Your “true sent preacher” has led you astray. His interpretation would also mean that only “sent preachers” are loved and washed from their sins in the blood of Christ (Revelation 1:5). Of course, this is basically what you teach. It’s more extreme than hyper-Calvinism. Thank God it’s far from the truth.

Your cult is very elitist and controlling. It has created mediators between God and man in clear violation of what Paul said in I Timothy 2:5. “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus…” (KJV). Your cult has designated other mediators, “true sent preachers.” Without these mediators, you claim, a person can not know God and can not know truth. Your claim is false and it opposes the new covenant. I reject it completely and will never accept it. You can say that we’re goats and on our way to the lake of fire until you’re blue in the face. Your manipulative words and threats don’t persuade or intimidate me at all. I also don’t know why you keep bothering. You can stop bothering anytime. I pray that you will be set free from this strange cult that you belong to.

      • To Adam and Vincent… The following is an article I’m sharing with you in the hopes it might help you to understand. It is meant to help you to understand the way things are set up by God and how it is utterly impossible for anyone who is unsaved (whether they be a false preacher or teacher or scientist or anyone else) to have any truth if they are not saved. Honestly, I don’t even know why I bother. You guys are goats and goats will never understand anything…

The Scenario of the Three Rooms…

Imagine a house with three rooms in it. We’ll call those rooms – Room A, Room B, and Room C. Imagine that Room C is the room where God exists at, and that God is the only one in that room. Imagine that Room A is the room where everyone in the world exists – all the false churches, all the scientists, all the bible scholars and pundits, and all people of the world of every nation and sort – they are all in Room A. And imagine that in between those rooms is Room B. Room B is where all the saints are, where everyone who is truly saved exists (those baptized in Jesus Name and has the Holy Ghost per Acts 2:38). Lastly, imagine that a true sent preacher is the only person whom God allows to enter Room C and is the only one who can travel between Rooms B and C…

Now assume that everyone is born into Room A by default. When a person is born into Room A and is unsaved, they know nothing about God. They know nothing about what is going on in Rooms B or C. They might think they know but they don’t. All they know are just rumors and things they have heard. From time to time, a saint from Room B might be inspired to “witness” to an unsaved person in Room A. The saint might decide to invite that person to church. Let’s assume a person from Room A goes with the saint and eventually get saved at their church (meaning, they get baptized in Jesus Name and receives the Holy Ghost per Acts 2:38). Once they receive the Holy Ghost, God will then “spiritually move” that person out of Room A and into Room B. For the first time in their life, that person will then know exactly what is going on in Room B. They will know because they are in Room B themselves and can see for themselves what is going on. But even though they are in Room B, they still have no idea what is going on in Room C (the room where God is at). The task of teaching that new saint about Room C is the job of the sent preacher. Most importantly, God has it fixed so that only a sent preacher can enter Room C, and he is the only one who can travel between Rooms B and C. So the only way that any saint or anyone else can know the truth about what is going on in Room C is they must get it from a true sent preacher. Their is no other way to obtain the information because only a sent preacher is allowed to enter Room C (and God would kill anyone else who tried to enter)…

The irony of the whole situation is that, you have unsaved people in the world today (Room A) who has never seen or been in Rooms B or C. They have no clue or idea what is in those rooms, yet they feel like they know everything about God and knows what God is like. They are liars. It is utterly impossible that they could know about God and God certainly doesn’t know them. The false preachers and teachers, they don’t know about God either (because they’re in Room A just like you are). Not one false preachers has ever seen or been in Rooms B or C. So the only thing they can offer you are speculation and lies – none of which are true. The false preachers don’t have any truth. The scientists don’t have any truth. And truth only cometh from a true sent preacher. And yet most people has never even met a true sent preacher. All they’ve known are false preachers. And without a real true sent preacher watching over you and guiding you, there is no way you can ever be saved…

But let’s assume that some saint in Room B is taught by a sent preacher for many years. After many years, that saint decides to visit Room A and to witness to some people who are unsaved. While in Room A, the saint reveals to the unsaved people some important truth and details about what is going on in Rooms B and C (things he got from a sent preacher). But because those things the saint is saying are things the unsaved people has never heard of before, they automatically ridicule him and assume it must be lies and they “reject” everything the saint is saying. Yet, those things the saint is saying are the very things that could “save” their souls. But they don’t accept it because it doesn’t line up with their own preconceived notions and ideas and opinions. It doesn’t line up with what those other preachers have been telling them (of course not, because those false preachers are in Room A just like you are). No matter how the saint explains it, the unsaved people refuse to accept it. Their feeble mind just cannot comprehend or understand the amazing things the saint is saying about Rooms B and C. And nor do they have any “faith” to believe in those things. That is why the scriptures say, he that believeth (…not proof – but believeth…) and is baptized shall be saved). And he that believeth not, shall be damned…

Therefore, every person in Room A has a choice. 1) They can either have “faith” in (believeth) what the saint is saying and “take a chance” and get baptized in Jesus Name and receive the Holy Ghost per Acts 2:38. Once they do, God will then “spiritually move” that person from Room A into Room B. Once in Room B, they’ll then be able to see for themselves that everything the saint was saying is true. 2) Or else, they can remain stubborn and closed minded and limit themselves to what is being told to them by the people in Room A (the false preachers and teachers and religious scholars of the world, those who are unsaved just like you are). You might listen to those people in Room A, but they don’t have any truth, because they’re in Room A just like you are. And they’ve never seen or been in Room B or C, so all they can do is speculate. Even the history books you read (which were written by sinners), the information on the internet, and even your own personal understanding of things – are all tainted by Lucifer and is a part of Room A. There is no getting around it, there is no truth in any of those things. All they can offer you is death if you believe in those things. Truth only cometh from a sent preacher. And true sent preachers do not exist in Room A (they only exist in Rooms B or C)…

So the only thing the saint can do is to continue inviting people from Room A to church and to hope that some of them will believe enough to get baptized in Jesus Name. That is the only thing that will save them. But the time for salvation is running out. Very soon, the Lord himself is coming back for his saints (the Rapture). God is going to collect all his saints from Room B and will take them all into Room C where they will live with him forever. The Church Age will have ended and Room B will be forever closed. As for Room A – which is filled with countless unbelievers and sinners of every sort – when the appointed time comes, God is going to cast every single person in Room A into hell and the lake. He will then burn the contents of Room A with a fire so hot, the bible says it will “melt the elements”. God will make a brand new heaven and a brand new earth. The saints will live forever in heaven. The people of Israel and a select few others will live forever upon the new earth. And everyone else will spend eternity in the lake of fire and brimstone. And thus shall end of The Scenario of the Three Rooms…
        ____

The above is a very good analogy of how God has things set up. No person in Room A knows about God or knows about the things of God, and it is impossible for them to know. It also illustrates how truth cometh only from a sent preacher (because a sent preacher is the only one who can visit Room C where God is at). It also illustrates how if you disagree with anything I’ve said, you cannot run to anyone else in the world (whether they be a false preacher or teacher or scientist or any one else) and find information which can prove or disprove anything I’ve said. Because those people are in Room A just like you are, and are just as unsaved as you are, and they’ve never seen or been in Rooms B or C, so they cannot offer you the truth. All they can do is speculate and offer lies. But because I am a saint of the most High from Room B, I am offering you the truth – the real truth I got from a true sent preacher. And I’m saying everything you personally believe is false (because you’re in Room A). No matter how good it sounds, and no matter how much you think you understand the scriptures, your understanding is still false and it is impossible for you to know the truth. That is the way God has it set up and there is nothing you can do about it. The only way you can ever know the truth or can learn the truth for yourself is you must get saved by being baptized in Jesus Name and receive the Holy Ghost per Acts 2:38. Once you do, God will then spiritually move you from Room A into Room B, and you’ll then be able to see for yourself that everything I’ve been telling you is true. But if you refuse to get saved, you will simply continue on to hell and the lake, along with everyone else in Room A…

      • Vincent, appreciated your comments, and your patience, I too was once a part of a church that thought it alone had the truth. I thank God for being delivered from it during my teenage years.

  2. Ten horns? Do you really believe that ancient silliness?

Two of the biggest assumptions that many Christians make regarding the truth claims of Christianity is that, one, eyewitnesses wrote the four gospels. The problem is, however, that the majority of scholars today do not believe this is true. The second big assumption many Christians make is that it would have been impossible for whoever wrote these four books to have invented details in their books, especially in regards to the Empty Tomb and the Resurrection appearances, due to the fact that eyewitnesses to these events would have still been alive when the gospels were written and distributed.

But consider this, dear Reader: Most scholars date the writing of the first gospel, Mark, as circa 70 AD. Who of the eyewitnesses to the death of Jesus and the alleged events after his death were still alive in 70 AD? That is four decades after Jesus’ death. During that time period, tens of thousands of people living in Palestine were killed in the Jewish-Roman wars of the mid and late 60’s, culminating in the destruction of Jerusalem.

How do we know that any eyewitness to the death of Jesus in circa 30 AD was still alive when the first gospel was written and distributed in circa 70 AD? How do we know that any eyewitness to the death of Jesus ever had the opportunity to read the Gospel of Mark and proof read it for accuracy?

I challenge Christians to list the name of even ONE eyewitness to the death of Jesus who was still alive in 70 AD along with the evidence to support your claim.

If you can’t list any names, dear Christian, how can you be sure that details such as the Empty Tomb, the detailed resurrection appearances, and the Ascension ever really occurred? How can you be sure that these details were not simply theological hyperbole…or…the exaggerations and embellishments of superstitious, first century, mostly uneducated people, who had retold these stories thousands of times, between thousands of people, from one language to another, from one country to another, over a period of many decades?

  3. Mr. concerning the passage: “These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them”
Please identify this “historical Lamb” for me and do tell how it had overcome the 10 horns in history.
Also tell me, do you ascribe to Preterist view points toward all prophecy?

    • Hi Michael. Thank you for your questions, which are good ones. The Lamb is Jesus. I believe He overcame the 10 horns who were persecuting the Church [1] through the word of the testimony of the martyrs (Revelation 12:11) and [2] by intervening and mercifully putting an end to that phase of persecution. That wave of persecution spanned a 3.5 year period (64 – 68 AD), and it ended with the death of Nero. The 10 horns had followed his lead. The 10 horns and also the Roman Empire in general fell into disarray at that time. There was great political upheaval and Josephus and several Roman historians say that Rome nearly collapsed at that time.

I do ascribe to the Preterist view generally. However, I’m not a cessationist when it comes to the gifts of the Holy Spirit (I believe they are active today), and I believe in ongoing fulfillment when it comes to the kingdom of God, life in the New Jerusalem, etc.

  4. I am always willing to discuss the Bible and discuss real questions with true seekers of truth. However especially on internet their seems to be a class of classless people who pretend to ask questions and then go off on their own agenda and spout nonsense that they have heard. Treating people that they don’t even know with disrespect. The disrespect reveals the character of the heart. No serious scholar depends upon English versions alone for the purpose of exegesis. It is one thing to present arguments (apologetics) it is another to just be purely argumentitive.

  5. Good article. As for the identity of the Harlot/Whore of Babylon, Great City, she had the ‘blood of her prophets on her hands.’ There is only ONE city ever to kill her prophets: ‘No prophet can die outside Jerusalem.’ (this comment is for the ‘hell’ possessed guy who has been deceived on more than one issue. In the beginning God, the author of polarity, created heaven and earth, not heaven and hell. Hell is a manmade word rendered to suit the RCC doctrines of the 16th century.

BTW: ‘There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus..’ Ro 8:1 (for the same guy who is full of condemnation)

The ‘church’ is not a building or an origination but the family of God worldwide who worship in spirit and TRUTH. The FREE GIFT offered the nation of Israel by Isaiah (55:1) is the same FREE GIFT anyone can receive. The Living Water is FREE. The gates to the New Covenant city are always OPEN and everyone is invited in.

  6. This confirms what was being revealed through a search of the old covenant types and shadows to explain these ‘ten horns that have not yet received a kingdom…’ The Sons of Korah, which were three, had specific duties related to the temple worship, and were given specific cities in which to dwell. The ‘rest of the sons of Korah’ were given ten cities. There duties included dismantling the Holy items and removing them from their temporary residence. Joshua 21:4-5. (God’s presence removed from the old covenant harlot city to the new covenant virgin city, New Jerusalem.)

Rev 7:4,8 Ephraim, Dan and one of the half-tribes of Manasseh are where these ‘Sons of Korah’ resided. It’s no coincidence they are missing from the ‘Firstfruits’ from the tribes of Israel who serve as priests, ruling and reigning with Christ, judging the old covenant nation of Israel. This 144,000 are the substance of the types and shadows of the 24 divisions in the Aaronic priesthood with their 6000 respective members.
