  1. i am an amillenialist, and am trying to understand the persecution of the jewish people. I don’t understand why they have been so hated. i believe that i am of the Israel if God as an amillenialist, and know that the church is to be persecuted, any thoughts would be great, thanks

    • Hi Rebecca, I don’t have any simple answer for why Jews have been persecuted. Are you referring more to the persecution of Jews in modern history (let’s say since Israel became a nation in 1948)? Or to persecution in centuries past? There’s an awful history, for sure, of hatred toward the Jewish people. One distinction I would make is that the church (believers in Christ) has been persecuted, and is being persecuted (more so in some regions than in others), for the sake of Christ. Jews have generally been persecuted for other reasons, which have nothing to do with faith in Christ.

      • Jews have been persecuted because of their many evil ways such as usury, apartheid mentality and practice, and their vile attitude towards every other human being in that they see us all as lower than cattle. And above all, their hatred of Christianity. They deserve everything that has ever come their way.

    • Jaunita, thank you so much and love you too. Amora has her feisty moments for sure, but I don’t think I can say she’s getting fat yet. She’s growing, though. As of today, she’s one month and two days old (and she’s gained a pound and five ounces since birth).

      I’m glad to hear that you’re still finding this list to be useful. It’s been a while since I added to it, and hopefully my dissenters won’t take that to mean that John Hagee is winning me over. Haha.

  6. I’m back dipping in to some of your teachings on The Church and Israel. I’ll always be convinced that the Church is now, Spiritual Israel. But am having a problem convincing Steve Thomas. LOL. I needed to re-read your arguments on the issue. Still learning and being blessed Adam by this blog ❤ you and your family.
